American Dad all the way. Even though I have a burning hatred of Roger and his ability to get away with anything the show is just so funny. And every once in a while they do something that I absolutely love, like every once in a while when they remember that Stan is a childlike lunatic who works for the CIA and is a massive badass, or whenever Roger actually gets what he deserves. Also, Rapture's Delight. Oh my god, Rapture's Delight. I love that episode so much, it has a generic first act but after awhile you get to see Stan as a hook-handed, half-blind demon hunter, Roger as a genuine spaceman, Jesus as Mad Max, and the Anti-Christ as a villain on the 60's Batman show.
Family Guy is just (long pause as I think) unpleasant. Just (dramatic pause) so very unpleasant. I feel like it's offensive for the sake of being offensive.
And the Cleveland Show, god, the Cleveland Show. It's BLACK!Family Guy! They chose the least interesting possible character to use in a spin-off, and worst of all Family Guy's buddy dynamic is lacking since his departure, a major faux pas.
I'm pretty passionate on this subject, even though I barely watch the shows on their original airdates.
