I have a major crush on Lexis-Numerique. Their other big game, "The Experiment", was also quite derided, but I loved it. I'm too much of an innovation whore to ignore them.

I might give it a shot. As someone above mentioned the price of a tenner, I'm guessing it's an XBLA/PSN kind of deal. Even so, I will probably try the trial before going for the full game.

If I can bring myself to stop playing Skyrim for long enough that is....

Either that, or someone took a knock on the head and decided to give Amy Rose her own game. Though replace the two leads in this here game "Amy" with a redhead in a police uniform (which is just like the one real female police officers wear) and a pink hedgehog with a hammer and you might be onto a winner!

Jim Sterling has tweeted that the game is so bad that he may do a PSA urging people not to buy it. Susan Arent has made similar claims toward wanting to like the game, but saying that just about everything is poorly made.

So yeah. That's going on my no buy list.

Err, how do you think games magazines and websites get reviews up prior to launch? We (that is, games critics) drop a line to the PR reps who then say: "Here you go, knock yourself out. No details released before x date please." That is assuming of course, you're one of the big boys like Escapist, PC Gamer or OXM. If you're just one of the little guys like me and my mate, good luck to you. Figuratively speaking of course.

Also, for the record, I bought it, and it's hardly deserving of the bashing it's been submitted to. It's by no means mind-blowing, but it is entertaining, it's challenging, and I quite like the story and a few of the original gameplay elements. I bought it for 10 bucks, and it is most certainly worth more than that.

I hardly care about reviews in general, and it's a good thing that I don't. I'd have missed some games that gave me a lot of hours of fun, and I would've bought games that never would've held my interest. Besides, giving games negative points because of the frequency of checkpoints just sounds moronic to me.

Anyway, I'm enjoying it.
