No, they don't rhyme in any way. Whoever says they do needs to go back to school.
This.

What a ridiculous argument. Not like my friends and I are any better but wow.

No they don't. Can't you argue about something better?

I'd say a bit - not a perfect rhyme, but since both words end in the same vowel sound it is passable for a song maybe.

Its an imperfect rhyme, the same kind as Orange and Door hinge.

I think.

But, regardless of what kind of rhyme it is, those words do in fact rhyme. It isn't a very strong rhyme though.

Are you serious? Or drunk? Or high? Of course they don't rhyme! In fact, I've never heard any two words that rhymed less. [small]Maybe that's an exaggeration.[/small]

Not even close. Sorry. You spotting a pattern here?

If we were in your favour, you would crowd your mates around this forum. Are you even going to show them this now?

"Fish" and "Arseburger". That's as un-rhymee as I can think of on the spur of the moment.

As I understand, you basis for saying this is that you think 'man' rhymes with 'man'...

Need I say more?

EDIT: Actually one more thing. I shouldn't be surprised I suppose, given your atrocious spelling.

It's an alliteration (both consonance and assonance, I believe), which is not rhyme.

People seem to be letting the concept of an near rhyme slip.

Man rhymes with man because of the -an part, same with ban rhymes with man.

Eye - Light
Years - Yours
