I doubt they would axe the franchise since so many people would want a sequel, it wouldnt come out soon though since they just announced brink and are probably still going to make fallout add-ons

I'll be frank, I want a Morrowind clone with shiny graphics and a new location/story. Gimme it now.

But with more factions, gear, and other such things.

For me, a port of the good old Morrowind to the Oblivion engine with a few updated graphics would be enough.

Yeah, me and a friend were all ready to try and do that. To actually take systems from Oblivion and put it in Morrowind, and redo as much of the art and shit as we could. It was to be my life's work, making everything totally awesome. Sadly, we lacked the computer genius to pull it off. Plus, neither of us owned Oblivion for the PC; only the Xbox version. That made it kinda hard.

They already said they're making one. They copyrighted the name "Skyrim" shortly before Fallout 3's release, so I would imagine it'd be there.

Well, Bethesda is working on other projects, and I seem to remember reading that they haven't even begun planning such a thing yet, though they plan to do one eventually.

They put a lot of work into those games, so I imagine it's not something that will happen quickly especially with rising expectations.

Due to their successes I am reasonably sure we'll see an "Eldar Scrolls 5" and a "Failout 4".

I want that desert place for the new one. At least part of the new one. Isn't the desert pace next to a snow place(I don't know names) I'de like to see some sharper contrast in the games besides Swampy land and slightly dryer swampy land or Tempret forest to temperate forest with some snow every once in a while

I loved all of Bethesda's games. Although Morrowind was and is my favorite. I hope for a fifth installment, maybe tweak the combat system a little from Oblivion and bring back the leveling and skill settings from Morrowind. Oh and don't make it so the entire world levels up with you, that was the one thing i did not like about Oblivion.

When do you think the new eldar scroll game will realeased or if there will even be one, I think there will in 2010 because arena 1994 daggerfall 1998 morrowind 2002 oblivion 2006 also where do think it should take place?

I love how you repeatedly spelled Elder wrong, especially with the level of reasearch that you've obviously done. Oblivion, despite crushing all of my hopes and dreams, was and is sitll kind of fun, you know, as one of those pointless timesink games.

It should take place in the whole fucking world. That way they can't possibly screw it up so badly. It'll take more time but I'd be fine with recreations of morrowind and whatnot in whatever (hopefully new) engine they make. I also want to actually change things, like, i read a book in oblivion called "Report: Disaster at Ionith" and I actually found it really cool. Like if the player could take part in things like that (although hopefully not so disastrous). And you should be able to get a boat and sail. But the boat would be like a hpouse so you could keep all your shit in it and move it around the world. And not just like a fast travel thing either, you should be able to do it in real time, and find lost islands and shit.

As long as it has the depth of Morrowind, combat of oblivion, is fully voiced and by different people then i will be happy. oh and better face animations.

I dono if they have one planned, but i know that i want a new elder scrolls. They are my favorite games! Fallout 3 was Epic, but it is constantly compaired to oblivion "It's oblivion with guns" (Or the way yahtzee said it)

Considering the upward curve their games are on, I look forward to any of their future games.

Especially Fallout 4.

Think of the improvement between Morrowind and Oblivion and apply that to Fallout 3 to Fallout 4

ugh, stop saying Oblivion sucks. It's amazing and you know it, just because Beth left out a thing or two you liked from morrowind doesn't mean oblivion is terrible. I have played all 3 of the games mentioned here that matter, those of course being F3, TES:IV, and TES:III these games are all good and enjoyable and i predict the same awesome fate for any further Elder scrolls game to be released.

I certainly hope they create TES:V in a timely matter and take some ideas from the fans, as i have read many good, or even great ideas from certain articles/threads found on other websites.

P.S. pepsi is gross in my opinion
