Well if I could control the space/time continuum, I could go back in time to see my old life, thus regaining the memories I lost, even if from the passive perspective of an observer. And that power would be awesome. So for that specific power, sure. Any other power: definitely not.

I can't remember much before three, and everything up to five is hazy at best. During that time I learned to speak and do lots of stuff required in being a human, yet I don't feel as if I'm missing anything by not knowing what happened.

I may have a new curiosity in figuring it out, but I would be better off for it. Memories might also give me a bunch of safety reflexes that would get in the way. It would be hard to be a flying brick if I couldn't work up the nerve to jump off a building or punch through a wall because memory says it's a very dumb thing to do.

No loopholes, you're previous memories can never be yours again. You can find out about yourself but it'd be like being a creepy stalker that finds out everything about whoever he's stalking, then tries to get along with them but they're just weirded out and call the cops.

hmm yes i would choose the power to manipulate time and space, thus allowing me travel back in time and doccument all the events that happened in my life to get the gist of everythign that happened as that is not looking back on a memory specifically just observing one unfold(if that makes any sense) i would then proceed to mess with time and space like a god

EDIT: by document the events i wouldnt be in the body of my pre superpower state i would be a completely different individual just watching things happen

But even I would have to acknowledge I would eventually figure out I had powers all over again and go on some stupid quest to remember everything, since I would think that my forgotten memories contained something important- and would only be disappointed.

It would depend on what superpowers, but maybe... As long as I know beforehand that when I lose my memories, I will still retain my original morals, and not go insane...
