What, my family have owned this house for generations, the idea that she once lived here is absurd.

I would say yes under the condition she promises not to come back as an evil ghost. Ghosts scare the hell outta me, but I could probably manage as long as I knew it wasn't malevolent, death is natural and people die EVERYWHERE chances are plenty of people already died on the ground that makes up my house, why should this be that big a deal?

I'd probably let her, just maybe in a closet or something with some loud music playing so that I didn't have to actually witness it.

If she pays me a decent amount and already contacted services to pick her up I would. I need a reason to let her die in my house and "It would make her happy." isn't good enough for me. I prefer something material.

This is her very last request on this planet, one which will take absolutely no effort on my part to fulfill, so of course I would do it. Here's the thing, though, I would absolutely 100% request that the body be taken care off immediately after passing. I don't know how much you guys know what happens immediately after dying, but it's not like the movies. I won't go into any details, but suffice it to say that it is far from pretty.

Depending on the death, it can very much be like the movies. Emptying of bowels and so on isn't the default thing to happen, especially with terminal patients who're barely in shape enough to live through an IV drip, not even contemplating solid food.

I've sat a few death watches and I've yet to see anything 'far from pretty' happen within an hour of the death.

Anyway, I'd like to turn the question on it's head, for the people who say 'no, too creepy' and such. Why wouldn't you honor this old lady's final wish? What is it about someone dying that's 'creepy' to you?

I don't know why it's creepy and weird...I'd like to think I would allow her to but I really don't know. I suppose it's I'm young enough that I haven't had anyone important to me die (sorry Grandpa, I barely knew you when you died, not your fault).

Anyway, even people saying Yes have a little "I'm creeped out" factor. As of this text, 51 have said yes while 75 have said yes, just not in their room. There's just something about death that makes people want to stay away...

PS only if she has a family nearby I don,t like to see a person die nor become a murder suspect. I would just go out for the day

It's a tricky one. Fact is, I'll be in the house at the same time...that's not right.
And hmm. Nah I really don't think I could. The fact I know she's there to die is wrong.

I can spare one evening for an entire life.
The only problem being that i like very small houses.

Hey not all hauntings are evil but they're all annoying, maybe instead of writing in blood on the walls she'd just roam the halls aimlessly and rearrange all your DVDs when you weren't looking
