Subbed! The japanese voice actors are awesome! Not that there aren't good examples of dubs, but usually it's just equal or worse in english - my opinion.
Example: Soul Eater - good english dub, the japanese is just more over the top.

As for german dub ... it's just cruel and on top of that even worse cencored than english.

It used to be strictly subbed for me, exceptions for the voice acting in Cowboy Bebop which I actually really enjoyed. Oh, and the voice acting in Trigun as well.

Then I got slammed by college and decided to take 2 semesters in Japanese... a year and a half later, yaaay! original audio!

Mostly subbed, but a few series do dubbed really well. I.E. Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, and FMA.

Dubbed, for two reasons:
1) I usually watch videos alongside other stuff, so I don't like being forced to stare at the bottom bit of the screen reading what's being said.
2) I can understand the tone better of the character's voices in English.

There are a couple of cases where the dubbed voice acting was better than the subbed, but with the horrific experiences of Americanization in shows like Digimon, i prefer subs. Dubs don't actually add anything good while subs can sometimes save me from some really awful animes since it creates a small feel of cultural distance. If it weren't for subtitles i probably would've jumped out of a fucking window while watching Zero no Tsukaima or High School of the Dead.

As a general rule of thumb I prefer subbed. Dubbing is more often then not, rotten.
