Poll: Anime: Like it/ Hate it?

I love anime. I also love Evangelion and try to ignore the massive amounts of fan dumb [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FanDumb] it has/generates.

Ghost in the shell was the only anime i watched all the way through (first season anyway) a friend lent it to me out of the blue and i thought... 'may aswell watch em while i have em'

First episode is all about the main characters killing robot gaishas so i thought it would pretty interesting.. which it was.

I'm not really into anime all that much, though I do read manga occasionally. And even though I dislike most anime, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy some of it some of the time.

For every Love Hina or Elfen Lied there's a Planetes.
For every Gantz or Naruto there's a Last Exile.
For every NGE or Inu Yasha there's a TTGL.

etc.

And for the record: Yes, Planetes, Last Exile, and TTGL are three examples of animes I consider good, albeit for very different reasons. The other ones I mentioned are fairly popular ones that I consider utter crap, also for very different reasons.

I love anime been a Otaku for years now and i got to say my favorite anime has to be either Darker Than Black season one ,not sure about the second season Darker than Black Ryuusei no Gemini, or Code Geass season one and two

most animes i've seen i've liked, some i've tried but didn't finish due to getting bored of it. i do like anime, just not every anime

Neither, I don't really watch it.
I saw the Akira and Ghost in the Shell movies (both okay) and some NGE episodes.
They are no epiphany to me, though.

I hate it. The style makes me sick - those big eyes and spiky hair is so dumb.

I watch one or two, dont like most of them.

Also Anime is a kind of cartoon, some of them are directed towards adults others aren't. The same goes for western cartoons its just you have to look for them as they dont have a bunch of rampant children yelling "Kawii etc" every five minutes...

I watch it sometimes, ive watched all of Death note some Azumanga Diaoh and Im going to watch Saiyuki reload soon.

I enjoy it, but I haven't watched even a full episode of any anime in a good while.

Thinking of watching Hellsing again. Or maybe Ouran High School Host Club.

Relatively large anime fan, although until most recent, I had long abandoned watching. Brief curiosity in Higurashi, followed by Romeo x Juliet rekindled my interest. Additionally I shall conclude Naruto and Bleach eventually.

Personally I hold anime superior to a significant amount of American programming. Granted I loathed The Office and liked Inuyasha. So I shall make the assumption my opinion is not exactly coveted.
