Poll: Another Bloody Sex Question

Yes, it's time for yet another poll concerning our sexual preferences and how far we'd go for them!

This time the question is something I know you've been asked sometimes.

You can have sex with anyone you want to, and the sex would be excellent, but there's a catch: You will DEFINETELY contract STDs.

Will you contract disease for perfect ecstacy?

I think the knowledge that the person you're poking it into is crawling with viruses/fungi/Phthiraptera would make the sex somewhat lackluster, to be honest.

Um, no, a Sexual Transmissable Diseases is any disease than can is likely to be transmitted by sexual contact.

HIV/AIDS is one of the more famous, because it is widespread and nasty, but all sorts of things fall into the broad category of STD.

Also, public awareness programs are going to talk about the really nasty stuff...same way you don't have ads about drink driving in which the person scratches their paintwork when you can point at the people wrapped around trees, you don't bother mentioning the less harmful diseases when you can warn people about the killers instead.

Well it depends on the STD really.

I mean most are curable (yes, people who think every STD is permanent... they are in fact curable) so if its one of those then hell yeah, but if I'm gonna get HIV/AIDS then hell no.

Depends entirely on which STD and how good. I find it hard to believe I couldn't have just as good sex with someone who wasn't going to infect me with something nasty. In my experience great sex is almost always an option for any two (or more *waggles eyebrows*) people who are totally in the moment, attracted to each other, set on giving each other pleasure while relaxed enough to enjoy the ah...attention they receive and willing to learn by *ahem* doing.

I realize that's still a lot of qualifiers, but they're mostly about state of mind, not inherent traits. Also, I think I may have sprained my innuendo...

Anyway several STDs are curable with antibiotics (for instance, people rarely lose their noses to syphilis any more), so in that case it'd be a trade of temporary pleasure for temporary misery. Pretty different from contracting AIDS, which can kill you, or even herpes which you can never get rid of.
