The lack of Fur, Dragon scale/bone(just like Fur Armor on a Khajiit, Dragon Scale or Bone Armor on an Argonian works best for me. Sometimes, the best equipment types look more like a part of the character than something to detract from the general plainness of the character's features),Nightingale and Dark Brotherhood armors leaves me to choose Daedric since the Ancient Nordic Hero armor is found in the Daedric crafting table when using the Sky Forge.

I like dwarven gauntlets and boots, but the helmet looks cool. I dunno about the body though. My character is meant to be psychotic so he wears a dragon priest mask and fine clothing and it looks weirdly badass.

Ebony from those choices but I really enjoy the Nightingale Armor. Steel Plate looks really good too.

Without the helmet, ebony armor is my favorite in aesthetics. Deadric looks cool but just too cool....

By the way, on my evil Kahjiit, I have him wearing an adept hood with the ebony armor, it looks so badass.
I agree, Ebony is amazing. Daedric is cool but a bit too over the top. Also, it looks "evil" which is awkward in some situations, such as when some guy is all surprised that you're trying to attack some tree (in a quest), when you look like a fucking demon. Ebony is more sleek. Also, the sword is amazing. Amazing.

Nightingale armor and Dragonbane. The most bad-ass looking combination in any TES game thus far!

Woah, woah, woah, no love for Nightengale?! It's the Skryim equalvelent of the Bat suit.

I LOVE Nightinggale aesthetically, but I don't like the enchants on it =|
If there was a set of Nightinggale that you could enchant yourself, then aww yeah that'd be sweet.

Daedric is my favorite. I thought Oblivion's demon armor looked badass enough, but Skyrim's demon armor is sooooo fucking cool. The swords (especially that Claymore!) look especially awesome.
It is the one set of armor that set out to do something and actually got it bang on imo.
All the other sets have something wrong with them.

When Raj was younger, loved wearing Orcish armor. Amazing craftsmanship, and fits the body well for large weapons. But since was hit by spike wall, mauled by bear, got married and ate to many sweet rolls, i do not wear armor much. Prefer to be sneaky.

Wife Mjoll hates this though. Always complains about how Raj is coward. I learned quick to ignore it. This she hates even more, so is good i can hide well.

Normally these days, even when adventuring, i prefer wearing comfortable clothing. Robes from dark brotherhood are very loose, makes them comfortable to stab peop-..... i mean, find treasure in.

Not my picture, but the Triss Merigold Armor Mod looks fantastic ingame
I love that. Why couldn't Bethesda put more simply designed armors like that in the game? I ran around most of the game wearing the Savior's Hide. At least its grotesqueness had a story behind it.

i love, LOVE, the orcish armor aesthetic, kind of oriental but not quite there, the weapons don't look the part though, they look far more barbaric then the armour which i think is kind of weird.

for light armour i like the thieves guild armor best and then nightingale, but i never really wear either because the enchants kind of suck, which is a shame i would have prefered it if you could have gotten them without enchants. (now with the creation kit that is no longer an issue though.)

I usually wear my Nightingale armor, but I really like my set of Dragon scale too. On the heavy armor side, I think Dwarven/Dwermer looks freaking cool

Elven Weapons take the cake. Have you seen that battleaxe? Or hammer? I wish they'd taken cues from Oblivion's Elven Shortsword, I used that thing just for the aesthetics. Ebony is a close second in some areas, but I don't like the texture.

Armorwise? Nightingale. It's cool, and it looks more natural than the other armor sets - pretty much every helmet of every other armor set just ruins it for me (Dragonscale, Elven, etc.)

Steel Plate armour looks pretty cool. I usually (if I'm playing a warrior, of course) just go with whatever gives me the best protection though, not what looks good.

The hammer is admittedly pretty cool. It looks like the head of an avenging eagle.

My favourite armour in the game is actually the guards armour. Or Stormcloak, both are more or less the same. Reason being, it's a mixture of fur, scale and mail and is very appropriate for the culture of Skyrim. I was quite surprised at the lack of chainmail in the game to be honest and I've always been a fan of more simple armour than the elegant, upper-class stuff.

But out of the options here, Steel, simply for the Steel Plate suit I guess.
