Poll: Any 3DS fans out there? What games are you looking forward to?

I bought a 3DS to go away on deployment with. Turns out it was the best decision I have made in a long time! The 3D games are awesome (Zelda, i'm looking at you), and the back catalogue of DS games is incredible. The JRPS that are comng out of its preverbial ears are eating the hours and days away nicely! (Coupled with Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Neverwinter Nights if I can be bothered, or have the time, to even attempt to start my laptop up! But thats another story!)

Now I understand that the 3DS has had most of its criticism come from the fact that the 3d games library is very limited. Something that the industry seems to be trying to remedy at this time. So what, my 3DS fan friends, games are you looking forward to the most from the list of big hitters coming out soon? (I am British, so I apologise if some of these games are allready out where you are! Damn region locking! The old DS didn't have it, its a shame the 3DS does!)

Oh, and I don't see many DS threads on here! I hope I am not the only gamer with one!

I'm not a big fan of the 3DS (primarily because I think that 3D technology does little to enhance the gaming experience), but I am looking forward to purchasing a handheld when Kingdom Hearts 3D and Paper Mario are released. I also wanted to snag Megaman Legends 3, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

I thought the same with films, and was very skeptical about the games, but I think it works really well on the DS! I also like how easy it is to turn off for when you are on transport or in situations where 3D isn't ideal!

I'm also glad I am not the only one who plays the DS! What made you guys get it?

Cave Story was a freeware Japanese indie game released for the PC in 2004, and it has a large following for its type. Start here, and try downloading the "Cave Story Deluxe Package". If you like 8-bit art and music, interesting stories (it's much darker than it looks) and/or Metroidvania platformers, give it a look. And if you think it's worth paying money for, it's also on Wiiware, DSiware, the App Store (for Mac) and, since very recently, the 3DS (I still have to wait until the 24th, though, because I live in Australia). All the shareware versions have stuff like better graphics and extra modes, for instance.

Love my 3DS, part of the ambassador program and all. Mario 3D Land will be my next purchase (still a few days away in Australia) and Mario Kart 7. Hadn't heard about Fire Emblem 3D, but now I'm looking forward to that too. Also Animal Crossing 3D. And Kid Icarus. And Luigi's Mansion 2.

Though I really wish One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP would come to the US.

I try not to buy any luxury items for myself in November or December so I'm hoping that by the gift-giving holidays I'll have Mario Kart 3D (I refuse to call it Mario Kart 7. It's the only Mario Kart to be given a freaking number!) And Super Mario Land 3D is another one I can't wait for.

I've been really interested in Spider-Man: Edge of Time but there has been little to no news about the 3DS version specifically. Last time I checked though it did get a couple of review scores and they seemed more positive than I initially expected. I also can't wait for the 3DS Superhero Sqad game which looks like the closest to a third Ultimate Alliance that I'm going to get.

Other than the Ambassador downloads, the only game I have for the 3DS is Punchtime Explosion which was fun while it lasted but I stopped playing once I had unlocked everything but not until after I used Captain Planet a couple of times. I really hope the 3DS version of SSB includes King K. Rool...

As much as I like it though, I've been playing with my SP a bit more. I got Leaf Green for a 12-hour train-ride and still only have 2 badges in that. Before you ask about Black and White...I beat those. Beaten as in, elite four and, team plasma. I've never caught them all though I'm considering getting an Action Replay for the SP.

One in a Gamestop and, one in a Wal*Mart. kind of annoying but at least it gets me using those otherwise useless coins you earn while walking about.

I can't wait for Paper Mario but other than that I would have probably imported some games, like Gundam, if the 3DS was region free like every other DS and, Gameboy console before it...

One in a Gamestop and, one in a Wal*Mart. kind of annoying but at least it gets me using those otherwise useless coins you earn while walking about.

I know what you mean there! I only have one hit, and i'm sure its the girls who works in GAME who sold me it! She got one the same day, and when I went in a couple of weeks later to get a couple of new games it added her! She, on the other hand, has over 400 hits!!! The advantages of working in a game shop eh?
I thought of going to my first Expo, or Comicon... Surely you must get hits there!!

My rule for buying a new console is that it needs at least 10 exclusive games that I want before I consider buying it. As of games released stateside, there are currently only 2.

The next game being released that I actually want is none of those on the list, though admittedly...I'm actually not sure which game I want next is being released.

I bought it on the pretense that I would be getting megaman legends 3. My dream was crushed by capcom

Now I wait for mario kart and maybe some other hidden gems. But probably not very many

I'm interested in Dream Drop Distance, and I'm also hoping that Square will put out an exclusive FF game for the system, as well as a remake of FFV. That's pretty much all I ask.

I'm waiting for the inevitable "third game" for this round of Pokemon. And the equally inevitable Ruby / Sapphire remakes.

I am waiting on the New version of a 3DS to come out before i buy it , the games i see right now aren't that appealing to me , but when the jrpgs start showing , i will definately buy one.

Right now I'm most looking forward to Tales of the Abyss. I'm actually quite annoyed I have to wait until freaking Valentines Day to play it, especially since Europe and Australia get it this month.
