Poll: Anyone else annoyed by the show "Glee"?

I've never seen an actual episode, but I'm pretty sure it's behind the recent surge in popularity of 'Don't Stop Believing'; I'm glad it hasn't messed with any songs I strongly like.

I liked that song before Rock Band had it.

Hehe, I feel like a minority. I love Glee.
It's all personal preference though. It's kind of humor is appealing to me (And the rest of my family) and I personally don't find covers of songs bad. In fact, I enjoy both the original and Glee versions (Although having both really does mess up my neat-and-tidy iPod listings)

I wouldn't watch it, but I have seen it and it's ok. The only thing that pissed me off was everyone suddenly talking about 'the Journey song!!!'. Well fuck, for all these years I thought it was called Don't Stop Believin'. Guess I was wrong. Any Way You Want It is better anyway.

Agreed on Any Way you Want it being better. They actually did a cover of it as well, though it's not very long (It's mixed with Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'). However, the whole "Oh, it's that Journey song from Glee" does annoy me as well. I was once shopping when Livin' on a Prayer started playing in the store and two 20-somethings were next to me and one said "Oh, I know this song... it's from Guitar Hero!" I had to resist walking up to him and telling him off for not knowing, well, such a "classic" rock anthem. And age isn't an excuse, I was 16 at the time.

I actually kinda like it. Not many of the song numbers but the story and the characters are pretty funny. I would never have been interested in it if it weren't for my two sister's and mom constantly watching it the house.

Only thing I enjoyed from it is Neil Patrick Harris singing 'Dream On'.

but to what I was going to say is that i enjoy musicals some of their songs i could do without but i like it.

i girl i knew i high school who is obsessed with twilight got addicted to glee so one time i went to go watch it with her and FUCK! i have never wanted to kill anyone more in my life. she ruined it for me.

I don't know anything about the show, but their music covers are a disgrace to the originals, yet people seem to love them.

I actually like the show.... then again my friends will tell you that I was 'music geek' in school. Did the whole drama club, concert/jazz/chamber choirs, orchestra, and theater things....lol. The show kinda takes me back.

The characters...while leaning towards the extreme, are pretty accurate. i can pretty much apply people I know to those in the show. *shrug*

I'm in the camp...if you don't like it...don't tune in.

But just to warn you...it's been renewed for two more seasons..not just one.
