Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person that actually cares about MLS or that's it's hear. that's probably because I work with a bunch of people who don't and or can't see past american football. Am I alone here?

Don't care for it seeing I live in England where we have the best league in the world apparently. I wish more Americans were interested in their league though, as it would be good for the global game.

I have a friend that tries to keep me up to date on your league. he's a New Castle united fan.
but we have some really good players over here. though i don't think beckham helped as much as they thought he would

I prefer soccer on a global scale. American soccer is so... boring. There's no strategy in the game, it's just attack, attack, attack.

I agree that Beckham wasn't really the right move, but greater players like Pele and Bobby Moore have failed to get Americans interested in the game as well. I reckon if Zidane had prolonged his career and come to America with Beckham then it may have had a more lasting impact.

And do you really think there are some good players in your league? Apart from Xavier, Donovan and Beckham I haven't seen anyone who could be good for an average premiership team. I've seen 3rd division games here in England and the players usually look better than most in the MLS. Not meaning to be insulting but there is a huge quality gap between the countries.

It seems like theres a tendency to overrate American players hugely. Then they come to Europe and are average at best. Bradley or Beasley haven't really had much success in Europe, and it seems like Adu only recently started to come near fulfilling his potential. Altidore looks like he'll have a very good future though. There also seem to be a some good American keepers playing abroad, but I never see them in the MLS.

Whoo Dee-NAM-oh! (That's Dynamo, pronounced properly, according to most of its fans)

For some reason, though generally I'm not a big soccer fan, I do like watching Dynamo's games.

Man, I used to live in Brazil. The soccer there was intense.

In the U.S., on the other hand, it's pretty boring.

they do overrate american players because it's all we have. but Donovan is a bad ass. past him. Coby Jones retired last year. a little peice of me died when i watched his last game. he was my hero fror the 11 years i was in AYSO. Matt Reis is a fricken amazing keeper. best in the league. The Chicago Fire have this guy name Blanco. we don't have anyone near the level of you guys playing now past Donovan and Reis. But i'm i love our league for what it's worth.

Groxers: If you like the dynamo, you'll love the Revolution. That's my team right there. but from what I've seen from the Sounders FC and the fact they took some of the recolution players I loved to what I've seen so far. and i love the city of seattle. lol

MLS.

It's an acronym, so I'm guessing that sporting vacuum that is the United States is involved somewhere. Why can't they give their sports proper names, I mean, seriously, did you catch that NFL last night? Or how abuot the IRL, AMA, MLB, MLS? It's like acronym purgatory.

I voted "What's the MLS" before I read the topic.

If I HAD read the topic before I voted, it would have been "No." I mean, honestly, what is the appeal? Watching some blokes shepherd a bit of leather into an outdoor cupboard? (cookie if you know who said that). I'd rather stick pencils up my nose than watch sports.

Except UFC; that sport rocks.

Bah. I can't go see Revolution's home games. I can see Dynamo's. Ergo, Dynamo > Revolution. Also, Revolution doesn't have Brian Ching.
He's fuckin' amazing.
