Poll: Anyone else sick and tired of Michael Cera?

As others have said, I hate the movies, not so much him.

His new movie looks pretty fun, but his voice makes me want to stab things....

I don't hate him. He's a decent enough actor. The thing is, he has a tendency to play the same character in every movie. I can tolerate him, but every movie of his is the same movie.

Yeah... there's a lot of one note actors out there and he's found his perfect nitch. He'll hopefully mature into a more diverse actor down the road, but I don't hold out much hope for Holywood so long as Michael Bay is still employed.

On the other hand, he does star in some decent movies, none that are my preference though, but understandibly decent movies compared to some of the slop out there (How the f--k did Transformers 3 get green-lighted but the next 007 movie get shelved?).

He was awesome in Superbad but i haven't liked him in anything else. I'm getting a bit bored of seeing the exact same character over and over.

The kid was in Arrested Development; with just that on his resume I would be willing to overlook a lot.
I will say his new movie is one of the few I'm actually considering seeing this summer.

When I see Cera in a movie, I just remember Superbad and skip it, since all of his movies boil down to his awkwardness.

Yet another movie is coming out where Cera plays an awkward goofy teenager who is trying to score a girl. Seriously?! How many of these movies have to come out? Personally, I hate Michael Cera: no acting talent whatsoever and makes Nickelback look original! Just wondering if it's only me who can't stand him or maybe he has some fans?

EDIT: not saying his new movie looks bad, I'm saying Cera looks bad. I'm sick of the same old goofy, awkward shit he calls "acting."

I am really looking forward to Scott Pilgrim but yeah, the first time I saw anything on the movie I thought OH MY GOD THIS IS SO AWESO--oh wait, Michael Cera's in it.

He was the only thing I didn't like about Juno, his squeaky voice does it lol.

I've never seen his movies, cos I'm not into the whole "juvenile humor" type of thing that I assume those are filled with, but I LOVED him in Arrested Development.

That show is why he makes movies, and that show is not to be missed.

I've always liked the characters he's played, and I've enjoyed the movies I've seen with him. And I'm really looking forward to Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

There is worse out there. Jonah Hill, Jack Black, Adam Sandler, and Will Ferrel are all character actors that are getting much more attention and making a lot more money than Micheal Cera.
