Poll: Apples or Oranges?

I felt this thread had to be created to answer the undying question, which are better, Apples or Oranges? Personally, nothing is better than the tasty crunch of a Granny Smith.

Yep you are right Granny Smith apples are the best. Oranges are kinda cool in theory cause orange juice is tasty but they are just too messy, your hands get all sticky and they never taste good. Plus an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

I love both, but I can't stand orange pulp so it takes me forever to peel one to make sure I get every last bit of skin off. Apples win because of this.

apples, oranges, you have to peel, they have seeds (well so do apples but don't mind that), whereas apples are crunchy and sweet, and more healthy

Apples. I'm like Ryuk. Red apples which retain some tang from the green but still have the sweetness of a red are the best. Royal Galas and Coxes are favourites of mine. Oranges are too messy, too much of a pain and often too tangy. Plus, some of them (I never know which) have nasty little pips which hide away inside the orange membrane with intent to choke you.

All of the above is slightly ironic, because I prefer orange juice to apple juice.
