I'd vote for soundtrack. I recently got into Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, and although it isn't absolutely amazing as far as graphics (though the character animations are very well done), but the soundtrack, to me, is like finding diamonds in a gold mine. There's not 1 track on it I don't like, and every song fits the situation almost TOO perfectly. This has only happened once before, with Cave Story, so that's saying something.
Really? I just played though it all, I enjoyed the graphics more then sound but hate most of the completely over the top animations (bar the panic dance), Serious Inspector stop dancing round murder scenes. But I never really paid attention to the soundtrack, you can't the sound effects are so over the top and loud it ruins any chance it had. Not that it's the biggest problem of the game, the on going tutorial stopping you from enjoying the interesting gameplay features and repetitive dialogue that without would make it take up only a 1/5th of the time. I had to drag myself though playing it, I enjoyed the story and the ending actually surpised me, even made me a little sad, but seriously wish the characters would stop telling me to do the thing I was already doing or repeating "it's going to blow" taking my controls away and letting me just get on with it.

Dependent on the genre and franchise really. E.g. Fifa I'd care alot more for the graphics (apart from Flogging Molly in '04) than sound, and games like Halo CE which is known for its fairly beastly soundtrack I'd expect the later titles to have equally beautiful scores.

Yeah, I will admit, it did get kinda stupid when they kept on repeating dialogue, or telling me things I already knew. But, I'm a quick reader at times, so it wasn't difficult for me to just skip through it. Plus you can fast forward all of it, so it's not that bad. Honestly, it wasn't game breaking for me. As far as the sound effects, I thought they were fine too. Animations? I liked it. It gave the characters personality, instead of them just standing there and being boring. Anybody could stand there, but it takes a certain man to dance around crime scenes like that, and that's why I found Canebala fun :3

I'm not sure. One thing I will say though is that more games are/will be remembered for an great soundtrack than will be for great graphics.

Uh, what?

Soundtrack in the lead? Colour me confused - I've never felt the urge to mute the graphics in a game. Seriously, huh?
