A relative has a blackberry. The manual clearly stats that in the event of a hang/freeze/crash, you are to rip out the battery, count to five, and stick it back in. As someone who's been using computers their entire life, this sounds like slamming a car into Park at 60mph because you hear a strange rattle. But hey, whatever works.
Point is, apple products don't even have that option. They can work okay if you're extra gentle, but eventually something is going to crash, somethings going to get corrupted, and theres not shit you can do about it apart from "restoring" it for a couple hours. Then, if that doesn't work, you have a $500 paperweight.
