Poll: Are the Killzone and Uncharted series worth buying a Ps3 for?

I adored the original Killzone, as well as the Psp port. I am an Xbox "gamer" but was wondering if the Killzone series is worth buying an entirely new console for(as well as the Uncharted series.) Thanks in advance.

Not the two series by themselves, but if you'll be getting some more games like LBP, Heavy Rain, or Resistance, then go for it.

Killzone 2 is arse. Uncharted 1 is arse. Uncharted 2 is pretty good.

On the other hand, God of War is pretty good. Heavy Rain is... interesting. The Last Guardian will probably be awesome.

If you can spare the cash (As in, you won't starve or miss the rent), go for it!

If you add in the God of War trilogy, Little Big Planet, and the Team Ico games, then yes.

If you liked the other Killzone games, then you will love Killzone 2 (and soon Killzone 3).
The Uncharted games are fantastic (especially Uncharted 2).
And there are plenty of other games worth getting it for as well (LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid, Heavy Rain, etc.)

2 games are not enough, but let me help justify it some more (as a Wii and 360 only gamer until a week ago when I got my first Playstation console of any generation).

-Metal Gear Solid
-Infamous
-God of War
-Little Big Planet
-The HD updates of Ico and Shadow of the colossus coming soon
-Heavy Rain

And there are more, but I'm new to the PS so other people can fill in the blanks
