Either post about more interesting subject or don't start a topic immediately. We all had (and have) to follow the rules... newbies should not be exempt. I mean, come on. You don't really think nobody has ever done a Halo topic in the history of The Escapist, do you?

Also, starving them until they're all crazy and then releasing them into a gladiatorial arena filled with a variety of extremely-improbable-and-frankly-retarded weaponry, and then making the last man, woman or child standing slowly eat themselves as you watch from the sidelines with a four-course meal can be hilarious. That reminds me, I must send the invitations...

As a semi-newcomer, I don't think anyone has been mean to me. I've enjoyed my time on the escapist. That being said, I also don't make dumb posts (thus far) or badmouth other people's opinions (thus far, and I plan on continuing that). So, I say, no. You guys are not mean to newcomers. Thanks!
