Dude, Manliness isn't about not liking girly things. It's about being okay with when you do. It's called being secure, unlike those guys who freak at a boy with nail polish.

I have just taken off pink and purple nail polish with a knife. I was also once dared to grow my hair long, dye it pink and purple, have mini dreads put in it and wear a tutu for a day (which I would have done but my hair wouldn't grow long enough).

I said that so to give context on what I am about to say, "no, that shits for girls!".

I am perfectly fine with being secure in who I am but that show is so sickly sweet it has been known to cause diabetes ...

Anyway, the show isn't as sweet as it immediately appears. The ponies have a bunch of prejudices. They hate magic, and hide in terror of a zebra in one episode. Sweet shows don't have episodes on race relations.

No, a lady brony is a female who also likes MLP: FiM, but hangs with other bronies (and is probably outside of the intended age group as well). Essentially, bronies don't discriminate by gender and can be either male or female. Trivia: female bronies also occasionally go by the term fillies.

Lady Brony was just meant to include female fans, honestyl I should have put "Target Demographic" instead. But Browny, as I know it mostly refers, to male fans though I could be wrong, I just got into the fandom today.

Really, really, really grotty torture/gore fanfic apparently involving a lot of cutting and hacking and the remains being baked into cupcakes and fed to others all with a sexual slant to it. That is the sugar coated summary. I've seen people's response when they come back from reading it and it will fuck your day up

Watched a couple episodes so far and I'm not quite as hooked as some people. It's not bad, and I'll probably check out more of it to see if it gets better, but it isn't the drivel that would be expected from something aimed at young girls.

That being said, the culture that's sprung up around the show amuses me to no end. The potential for internet humor from this show is quite staggering and currently has me plumbing the depths of. Derpy Hooves (so far my favorite) is a good example of that.
