I'm a dog person mainly because with dogs they actually make it worthwhile to have it, you can play with them, take them for walks and such but about the cat? It just lays there, wow... exciting...

Althought recently my cat has been pissing me off because everytime hes hungry, I have to follow him downstairs to his foodbowl and watch him eat for 5 minutes while I sit there bored out of my mind. He's obsessive like that.

Cats. I guess it is weird since I'm a guy though? As my mom's friend says, cats are more like roommates and dogs are more like children. Dogs are too high maintenance for me.
Dogs, they would do just about anything to make you happy, cats on the other hand are like little Roman Emperors, they expect to be served...
I have had a pet Rat named Hershey and she was easily my favorite of any pet I ever had. I also had pet frogs but they were wiped out by a massive ant invasion, needless to say I'm sure I violated a few articles of the Geneva Convention in my counter attack...

And I, for one, have this odd feeling that cats are a part of... 'it,' shall we say.
If you do not believe me, I invite you to go observe the cat nearest you. Watch it. Monitor it. See its tiny glinting eyes as it cooley stares back at you.
Watch its tiny pink tongue of sandpaper curl as it yawns after a delightfully long nap that it did not entirely deserve.
Has it looked back at you yet?

This hatred for cats is due to a painful childhood experience. I do actually have a legitimate reason for my views, not just a 'Oh, dogs are fuzzier!'

I have 4 cats(Storm, Misty, Rainbow, Febe) right now, i did have a dog(Joe) but he died a while back, my grandparents have a Horse(Lacy,Had about 7 but now down to one), my grandparents also have one house cat(Mr.Grey), and outdoor cat( Superkitty, i named him as a kid
Once i get my own place ill probably have a cat and a dog, along with maybe a Bird or a Exotic pet like a Ferret.
Ferrtes arent exotic....just cute and fuzzy
