Pretty straight forward. Nothing much to add.

I am a cat person.

Also...

Personally, I was always a dog person. I have two of the greatest dogs I can ask for.

Cats are nice too though.

Cats, very much.

Not a great fan of dogs to be honest, always struck me as needy and smelly. Which, I realize, doesn't go for many dogs but the impression has stuck so my first reaction to dogs remains not 'Oh! Doggy!' but instead 'Hope it doesn't come this way'.

I'm a cat person. Have two of them, bro & sis.

Love dogs too, but cats are just perfect.

Cats. Not a fan of dogs in the slightest. Too much work. And I don't think they make good housepets. I like the independent nature of cats. They also seem to be more hygienic.

Cats of course. I love dogs this much *stretches out arms* but I love cats this much *stretches out arms and inch further*

I'd love a dog but because I work it's a bit unfair. Cats can come and go as they please and don't need constant care so they're better for me.

Like both and almost any other animals as well so this is difficult, but since I had a cat as a kid I'll vote cats even if it actually is pretty much 50/50. Both have their good and bad traits.

CATS CATS CATS

Cats are the cutest things on Earth and are the greatest thing to ever happen to the universe.

Cat person.

Dogs are cool too, but I find their subservient, eager-to-please-ness a bit off putting.

A dog will mourn you. But a cat will eat your corpse and I respect that.

Dogs.
Cats are like that party animal room mate.
They sleep all day, go out at night then come home in the early hours and wake you up because they are hungry. Occasionly they will also bring home things they 'find' too.

Dogs have also been known to save people's lives.

In conclusion cats are a bit rubbish.

Love cats. Always have. Dogs are OK but usually not as cuddly. Unless you count the St. Bernard lapdogs.

Exactly why a dog is a better pet. They actually care about people, cats are emotionless and just do their own thing

I'd prefer a companion animal rather than a four-legged yes-man.

I love both cats and dogs. I have a super cat right now, but when I eventually buy myself a house and have a yard, I want to get a big old goldendoodle like the one my family has.

Dog persona, I only have one and she was pretty much bought solely because I was starting secondary school and my mother's work hours were stretching slightly too high so we got one just for company. We practically grew up together.

She's a pure Jack Russel and is still on a constant quest to scavenge the biggest thing she can get her paws on. By scavenge I mean grab something off your plate lightning fast then run into the next run to inhale it before some nonexistent rival comes and fights her over it. Hasn't happened successfully for years now and she has learned to just beg to mother until she gives her something.

She also stares out of the front room window forever and barks at the nearest moving thing (not cars, thank god) and she sleeps a lot now because she's getting older.

Cats are cute but their independent "I don't give a fuck, i'm going to disappear for the day, don't ask questions" nature is like the opposite of what a house pet is about right?
