Since PC is faaaar superior to consoles. I am, of course, a PC gamer.

Though they do their best to consolize PC games (dumbing them down and removing freedom in order to cash in on worthless DLC) I'm still klinging on to the platform. L4D(2) is a prime example of consolization. It's a piece of shit that game come to think of it. OH and DOW2.. geeeez that was aworthless piece of shit. Damn GFWL is a really really scary and horrific service. It's really the worst thing to be released since... Internet explorer or Win Vista.

I got a PS3 and a really expensive but pretty good gaming PC, so I play both. Usually when stuff like Crysis or Mass effect, those very shiny pretty games, comes out, I play it on the pc. I play all my RTS' and shooters on my PC, but man, I couldn't go without a PS3 for my Brütal Legend, my racing games, my fighting games and ofc, RPG

I have a PS2. ANd a wii, but I never give that a mention because I never play it. So, I am a sole PC Gamer. I might play consoles if Microsoft lets everyone have free internet fun so I could play Halo online, but until then, I am a firm PC Gamer.

I like my console for Partygames / Fighters / RPGs / Racegames / Platformers
I got my PC for Shooters / RTS' / EVE-online / Soldat
What about Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Morrowind?
They're better on PC.

I agree with the rest of those, though. Especially party games. PC isn't the most social platform.

Any modern $150 graphics card will out-perform the PS3 and 360 in terms of graphical quality. And considering those consoles each cost around $250, that's not bad. Just because games don't NEED mods, that doesn't mean they don't make the games better. They do.

And, y'know, aren't games a luxury in the first place? so one part of a luxury is a luxury? Who would have guessed?

Psst: A new Xbox 360 arcade doesn't come with anything you'll be needing to even get started. Hard drive, wifi adapter (most likely), extra controllers, what have you. Chances are you'll be way above the $250 mark a month after purchasing it. You'd probably be better off just getting the $250 360 slim to begin with.
Different strokes for different folks I suppose. Those things you just mentioned weren't things that everyone needs.

I went both, because I have a 360 for fun times with my friends, and my gaming pc for fun times with my other friends, (and a bit of BC2) I personally prefer the pc, as I can plug a 360 controller in whenever I want if the controlls just don't work with a mouse and keyboard (NFS Shift)

Mostly console but I play some games on the PC like Sins of a Solar Empire and Half-life. Most games I want are multi-platform so I stick to the console version rather than updating my PC, sure I might be missing out on mods or whatever but if it comes down to a new graphics card or a new game (as it often does) I'll choose the new game every time.

Mostly console, every computer I've ever had has either been shit, filled with viruses, or under 5 feet of water (funny story about that). So I've depended on the reliability of my consoles, rather than the almost certain death of my PC(s)

I think it is silly to choose console over PC ever. PC can do everything console can do, controllers, hooking up to a TV etc and a shit tonne more like patches, modding etc. The only reason to prefer console over PC is if you cannot afford a top notch PC.

Console. I have nothing against PC, but I prefer the physicality of reclining in a nice chair/on the couch and playing with a controller on a console.

I play whatever has the best games which just so happens to be the PC. I like platformers/adventure games which are starting to drown underneath he FPS titles so I'd rather stick with the system that plays everything instead of buying a new system for one game. Besides once you hook it up to your TV and buy a USB controller you can hardly tell the difference. However I still play my ps2 often.

The only ever game on my laptop is World of Warcraft. I absolutely despise PC gaming. It feels so uncomfortable and impersonal. I need a comfy Xbox controller in hand...

Console all the way. Death to the PC!
