Poll: Are You A Console, Or Computer Gamer?

I divide my time about equally between them. Usually I play them in cycles though, so I might end up playing my PC for a month and barely touch my consoles before switching over and playing my consoles and only use my computer for surfing the net.

Former console gamer. I switched to pc because of the freedom it game me.

I prefer the PC. I dislike the lack of buttons and customization on the consoles. Also the mouse is a far more precise tool than a stick. And you dont get RTS on the consoles.

The PC has the most exclusives by far... just think of all those lousy flash games and the DOS games that date back 20+ years. The PC has more exclusives than any console has games in the first place. (But why it really matters how many exclusives something has is beyond me)

I'm a console gamer, but hopefully come this Christmas I'll be a PC gamer as well. But for now, my 360 will do just fine.

When my PlayStation 2 finally dies (it's been chugging along for 10 years!), that'll be the last of my console-gaming days. I still keep it around because sports and racing games don't do well on the PC and for no other reason.

I used to be a computer gamer (City of Heroes and some RTS's mostly), but I havn't had the time (or money) to get a dedicated gaming computer, so I've been a Console-tard for the last couple years.

Consoles for me: they're easier to use, the controls feel better (to me anyways), and I don't have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to get the best out of them.

Plus, I have a badass HDTV with a sweet surround sound setup, so I couldn't very well abandon that, now could I?

OT:
hmmm, well, I mainly play console for a few reasons
1.)my computer sucks donkey balls
2.)Im addicted to monster hunter tri right now, im determined to find something challenging and fun in it (Alterion shows promise, I may have to solo him when I get to 50)
3.)its more easily available to simply turn on my TV and my wii and just start playing, rather than looking for my laptop, waiting for the battery to do its thing(long story), waiting for the keyboard to register my password properly, then waiting 10min for all the crap to finish loading, THEN start the game, then another 20min to load the game, then about there is where the laptop usually f*cks up and I have to reinstall the game, but it works nicely after that.

Whatever I'm in the mood for, it's honestly REEEEEEEEALLY hard to hang out and play PC games...unless you count dragging your PC to a chums house but that's honestly not my idea of fun.

I don't have the money to buy a decent enough computer to play most games on the computer so I mainly console game. I do play Warcraft 3 though.

If you mean console vs PC, I'm a PC gamer. I love me some consoles, but you can't beat the versatility and customization (both of the hardware and of the games themselves) of the PC.

computer, i'm too cheap for a ps3, and won't get a 360, simply because i refuse to buy a product with a 1 in 5 failure rate.
and plus, i just got a brand new computer for Christmas.

however, back before this 3rd generation of consoles, i was a huge ps2 person, i loved Ratchet and Clank games..

My family didn't have a computer when I was a kid, yet we did have some hand-me-down consoles. Sony and Nintendo got me while I was young.
