The point is that it's the weapon the villain uses to trump whatever the other side has, the trick up their sleeve, the superweapon, the special attack. Sneaking up on somebody is not a trump card, the demon that was summoned when things started to go poorly was the evildoer's trump card, the phrase refering to something you have that renders your opposition null and void.Jaythulhu said:What's more evil? i would be a hero but only because if i were a villain i wouldn't know what to do, the villains always have to start the conflict.
I would be the super mega villain. The one that the hero has to fight in the end. The one controlling the other ones, sorta like the Devil! Aaaand I would not make mistakes like the other villains do, I would hunt down the hero myself, rather than sending idiotic underpowered minions. That would show him!

It all depends on who's watching.
If the story was following me, I'd be the hero. If the story was about someone who's in opposition to me, thankfully there aren't many, I'd be the villain (well, antagonist, at any rate). If you catch me just eating dinner while you're following someone else, I'm an extra. It's not like the people in the "background" wouldn't be people with dreams, troubles, and ambitions.
You ever go to a restaurant and see a celebrity or someone eating dinner? In your life, they're an extra, but they're major players in other people's stories.
The story follows whoever's holding the camera.
