I won't say I've never been a hypocrite, but I feel comfortable saying I'm not because I try to watch for that in my every day life. If I encounter it, I change what I'm doing, or what I'm saying. There's no hypocrisy in changing your belief. However, I rarely run into this because I'm not terribly firm on many issues, not unless they directly affect me in some way.

everyone is a hypocrite at some point in time. people who say they aren't don't understand what hypocrisy is. Hypocrisy is fun and educational. the trick to not being a douchebag is recognizing when you are being hypocritical, and toning it down a bit.

And to take the joke too far: Its hypocritical, not hypocratic, as hypocritical means "below criticism", where as hypocratic means "below authority".

Overall, I would say no. Sure, everyone has their moments, but to get labeled as a 'hypocrite' you need to be consistently hypocritical. That, so far as I know, is not me.

At least, I don't think so. I can't stand hypocrites and it's something I would never want to be.
