If I say yes, I'm a hypocrite.

If I say no, I'm a bigger hypocrite.

Decisions, decisions...
Why would you be a hypocrite for saying yes? If you say yes, it means you can be, or have been, not necessarily at this moment.

The question is asking if you are a hypocrite. Saying 'yes' to a question asking if you are a hypocrite would mean that you believe yourself to be a hypocrite, thus making you a hypocrite in your own eyes. There is no specific time frame involved from what I can see; the question isn't asking whether you are a hypocrite at this moment. It's just asking if you are a hypocrite.

And as for if I say no... Well, /anyone/ that says no is a hypocrite.

I'm usually not. Every once in a while I'll find myself acting as such, but I do everything I can to minimize, if not outright negate, the number of those situations.

yes, but it's sort of a righteous hypocrisy. you see, i myself fucked up my life, and continue to do so, so i try to get others to do the exact opposite of me to prevent them fucking up their lives. idk, i could just be trying to make it sound good, but it's still hypocrisy none the less. it's not okay for me to do it, i know that, but i still do. and just because i still do it, doesn't mean you should also, in fact, that usually means do the opposite of what i'm doing.
