I knew which option on your poll was going to win because it's the common sense option. And I chose it.

Man, PCs suck sometimes. They're so unreliable. Yet I've not booted up my 360 in about 5 months.

I don't buy into any "defending" any product/corporation, video games, consoles or otherwise. The "Console Wars" is just a marketing hype gimmick to turn people into unpaid advertisements and set them up to bend over later for exploitation-up-the-ass like unnecessarily restrictive DRM, high-price low quality/content DLC, and video game rehashes and copypasta.

Edit: Traitor implies that consumers have an "obligation" to companies/franchises, when it should be the other way around.

By traitor I mean someone who buys a console (or PC) then regrets their choice and procedes speaks down against their platform.

I used to own a PC that could be considered decent for gaming, however after getting sick of WOW and owning it for a few years I soon tired of missing out on console exclusives,, and the problems that come from a platform without standardized specs. I wound up hating on PC gaming. However currently I own a mac, and while I liked owning a mac for the first 90 days, once games like tf2 came out I immediately turned coat and started hating on macs and apple. On the other hand I currently game mostly on Xbox 360 and PS3 (using gamefly). I tend to defend both of these consoles. however I also bought a Wii (off of my friend for <100$) and I tend to flame it. So I guess I would fall under the category of "I defend a platform I own when it deserves it".

Are you a traitor?
In these cases (I only share this experience with games really) I feel more like the product betrayed me, hardly the other way around.

But sure, I'm a traitor.

*looks at avatar* HAHAHA, OF COURSE I'M NOT A TRAITOR. *nervous smile*

On topic, now, I adore my PS2 and my meagre selection of games, and my PS3 is not too shabby either. I do like to pay things out though and set fire to flame things and I am insanely picky, so my GBA was pretty much doomed from the start. I'd say I defend my consoles whenever they deserve it.

And my Mac sucks for games. There are only so many times you can play the Sims 2 before it gets old. (Read: once.) I don't have Intel, so no Steam, and my parents be hatin' on PCs, so I shall never get my fix of those Sherlock Holmes games. ]: Or, in fact, any other PC game evar.

Who ever buys a console and doesn't like it is a moron and didn't look very much into what they were to spend hundreds on. They deserve to e disappointed, I love my PC and all my consoles.

I have never had any loyalties whatsoever. If I had the money, I'd own every game and system ever invented.

I am rather partial to the PC, though. FPSes are just better with a keyboard and mouse. Pretty graphics be damned.

I shall only answer with those AWESOME Lyrics

Traitor! (traitor)
Hang him high
You gonna pay for all the lies
Traitor! (traitor)
Torture is my name
You gonna burn in endless pain

I'm sorry I'm part of the PC playing Master Race and would never think of degrading as far as to play a console. :p

I try to stay out of the console wars. Hearing console fanboys and PC elitists argue and flame about other consoles and PCs just makes people less intelligent.

The best thing you can do is when you hear a fanboy or elitist talking is ignore them.

On Topic: I suppose I could be called a traitor since I own a PC, x-box 360, and a PS3. So yes, I am a traitor because I won't stick with one gaming platform.

I dunno if I'm a traitor, I stay out of console wars. But I do get pissed off when someone starts shoving their console up my ass.

I have all 3 consoles and a PC, but the only one I rag on is the Wii. But every bit of it is totally deserved.

I just give my opinion on each gaming platform cause I've played PC games (WoW) own 360 and Ps3 and my friends have the Wii so I've played them all extensively and I give hate where it needs to be :D

You're just flatout fickle.

As far as gaming machines go, I have a PC, PS3, and Wii, as well as older systems like my PS2 and N64. I tend to appreciate them all equally, recognizing their individual stengths and flaws... with the exception of the Wii. While initially enthusiastic about it, the complete drought of half-decent titles has caused me to shun the system. Did I betray Nintendo? NO! Nintendo has betrayed US!
The PC was bought by my parents back when I was 12.
