Eh, sometimes I seem to be afraid of it, sometimes I am not.
I'm fine with it, unless I watch a horror movie, or have bad thoughts, and then think I see things out of the corner of my eye.
Then I just hide. If in bed, under the covers, if in the hallway, rush into my bedroom >.>
So... not so much afraid of the dark, as what I cannot see because of the lack of light.

It's not a fear of the dark, it's what is in it that I'm afraid of, generally. :p

I'm fine with walking around at night, and whatnot, if there are some lights around, and I trust the neighborhood, so it's not an irrational fear of darkness. However, my dad and I watched this one series of horror flicks when I was really young, like 6 or so, and it messed me up so badly that people notice I never walk into a dark room without reaching in and turning on the light first. I've had that since I was SIX.

I've never really been afraid of the dark, But sometimes having my curtains undrawn at night can be eerie mainly because it's like a black abyss.

I was afraid of the dark when I was younger (under ten) but now I'm not. Though if I watch a scary/creepy movie at or near dark/night I do feel a little bit uneasy. Like the time I went to see 30 days of Night, which ended well after sunset, I was uneasy while waiting for my ride.

Nah, I can find the dark to be quite comforting.
When I think about the things that can hide in the dark however, I get unnerved to the point of turning on my Lamp and looking around the a few times, a simple feat as my room is about the size of a hallway (I also check the ceiling, but that's unrelated to lighting levels).

So... "Sorta".

[sub]Ah... You were asking people 18 and up.
Hopefully being a few Months off isn't a problem.[/sub]

I'm just afraid of smashing my shin off the damn coffee table again. I really need to move that thing so I don't run into it in the middle of the night. Nope, not afraid of the dark. I was when I was younger (like, 10/11) but by the time I was 13 I had grown out of it. Turns out I'm more of a night owl anyways and prefer the dark/night.

I'm not afraid of the darkness, but I'm more careful when I'm out at night somewhere downtown. Especially when I'm alone.

But darkness itself is not a problem, I'm pretty much used to walk around in my apartment without the lights on because I don't want to wake anybody up.

Only when it's unilluminated.

I don't like walking round in the dark, cause I always seem to be a few inches off where I think I am.

Now, dark and underwater....gnaaaaah!

Not really. I basically live in the dark. There are times when I am watching ghost videos on youtube that I will be a little creeped out in the dark but that is as far as it goes.

I'm not scared of the dark, except for if I have to walk outside and I can't see where I'm putting my feet.

Sort of? I don't really know, I haven't been in a dark situation for a good while now.
I guess it would depend on where I am. The dark doesn't bother me at home; but if I was in a really spooky forest or something, I might be concerned. What do I know.
Anyways, it's not the dark that's scary. It's what might be in the dark.

Not even remotely, I love the dark. I feel so at home during night time. The smells, the sounds (and lack thereof), it feels so...private, secure.
