Poll: Are you aggravated that almost every good game is released for the christmas season.

I'm just glad the "blockbusters" are coming out before 2010 at least, since it kinda allows me to die happy, seeing as how i have the "opportunity" to be conscripted net year...

I'm more aggravated that a ton of games that were supposed to come out this fall are now coming out in "Q1 2010", which is the current industry speak for "We have no idea when we're going to finish this thing."

Q1 2010 will be a mess.

Just look at the releases:

Dante's Inferno

God of War 3

Bayonetta

Mass Effect 2

Starcraft 2

and at least 3 games I haven't mentioned.

If they're putting a bit more work into the game then I don't mind at all but if it's just being held back for Christmas then it's kind of annoying.

I don't care because I don't let marketing tell me what is a good game, I decide for myself, and I also don't feel obligated to only play new games, if a game is good I'll play it no matter when it was released.

I've not had a summer gaming drought, since I got UFC: Undisputed at the beginning of the Summer, I'm getting Forza 3 when it's released at the end of the summer, and I've also been (still) enjoying Saint's Row 2, Eve Online and Hitman: Blood Money.

With the games I'm still enjoying and the games I'm getting soon, I don't even care if no games were released during Summer or at Christmas, it's not going to affect me one bit.
