Poll: Are you an Early Bird or a Night Owl?

I can function fine early in the morning, but I don't particularly like to. I also tend to find it very difficult to get to sleep a lot of the time. I'm not an insomniac, but that's not to say I sleep a lot. So, definitely a Night Owl.

I love the night. It comforts me. It also evokes a lot of imagination in my head. It feels nice to go for a drive with the windows down on a some what cold night and listening to "Video killed the radio star" (Don't judge me on that!)

amen to that. Driving at 1 or 2 am is nice, no other cars. Just tunes and wind.

... I feel incredibly tired in the morning yet hyped up at night.

And I wish society would build everyday activities such as work, classes and shopping around this sleeping pattern rather than having everything start in the morning and end at sunset. How ridiculous is that?! How can my lecturer's expect me to be up at 7am?! Even if I am, I won't have any energy. Pshaw!

I used to be a real morning person, always first in the house up, and early to bed cos I got tired. Last couple of years that's totally changed, now crawling out of bed before 9am is nigh on impossible, but staying up past midnight chatting is perfectly normal.

How intriguing, I've undergone the exact same change. As a kid, I was always up before 7 to watch the early morning cartoons, even on weekdays.

Now however, I can't fall asleep before 1 AM, and if I don't get to sleep until 10, you might aswell be talking to a zombie. You'll get more answers out of a zombie, though. I bloody hate mornings. I spend the first waking hour just pouring coffee into myself, trying (and failing) to read the paper. At around 11 AM I start to function properly. Anything before that, not so much.

I just walk around, making sounds that may or may not sound like [small]...fucking hell I hate mornings...[/small]

I'm a night owl, I keep going to bed really late and it's getting silly now. I sleep all morning (thank God I'm at university instead of working...), but I need to revert back to normal now. I really should go to bed earlier and get up earlier...

I'm definitely a night owl. I can do afternoons too.. But mornings are not my style.
