I still don't get the negativity here. Psychonauts and Tim Shaffer are awesome. This is like Psychonauts' funny bits and creativity with better gameplay and lots of metal... which is awesome. Unless the reviews are awful (which I really don't expect), I'm getting it in the first week.

This is exactly what I think. Psychonauts was one of the most awesome games I've played and Brutal Legend actually looks considerably more awesome. It's basically Metal:The Game. In a world full of space marines, it's refreshing to see a game like BL and I will be buying it full price because I believe in supporting developers when they're as awesome as Double Fine.

I'll probably get it, im not into the whole pyschonauts and heavy metal thing, but gameplay wise and the fact that is has Jack Black interests me, and because Operation Flashpoint looks average.

I would agree. I did enjoy the demo though, I just don't feel that single-player games are worth a monetary investment unless they're amazing (Bioshock, Mass Effect etc.). I'm seriously considering renting it though.

Looks like it'll be a rental for me. I don't think i'd enjoy the multiplayer at all either so hat lessens the replay value of the title.

I'll buy it off Gamefly for $15 bucks less, as much as I want to buy it off the shelf to support the developer, there is just too many games to buy this fall.

Definitely a rental. Judging from the demo, the game is fun and has a lot of charm, but not enough to warrant spending 60 Euros... still, it'll be good for a laugh or two hundred and a beer-fuelled weekend of gaming.

i'm deffintly buying me and 3 of my friends are to. im straped for cash at the moment do i need to make some money quick im thinking about selling my body just to buy it. played the demo and loved it i find jack black really funny and well im quite the metal head tbh, so it's a must buy for me this year (i tend to only buy games preowned because im a poor homeless person really)

I will admit that the demo was pretty good, but after some careful thought I've decided its not the game I want to spend £40 pound on. So I might just wait for a really cheap price drop or I could rent it for awhile.

there was a demo try it out to c what u think
i thought its just any other sandbox style action adventure but with a metal twist and i dont care bout metal it would of been more appealing for me if it was say fantasy or alien style
