I find it that alot of people are only good one way or the other. Either they are bad with controllers and good with M/K or vice-versa.

Now myself, I am good with both and so when I switch from Console to PC or PC to Console, I find it really easy to adjust and don't even have to think about remember controls or anything.

For me also, shooters I am equal on both PC and consoles. M/K made me want to raise my sensetivity in console shooters which makes me now play a lot better. So then I now get a really high place in both platforms shooters. Though I do perfer shooters on PS3 specificaly, I do play a bunch on PC but I enjoy shooters more on consoles.

How are you guys? Are you guys fluent or only good one way?

[HEADING=2]It hasn't happened yet (and I hope it doesn't) but no flaming on controllers or M/K, this topic is meant to ask which your good with not why the other sucks.[/HEADING]

Indeed my gamer skills go beyond just one system.
I like keyboard and mouse to be great for RTS and some FPS games. Action/ Adventure games I find more suited for console, but i could play either way

I can do both quite well. For the record, I find K/M to be far superior. I've always enjoyed PC gaming more, but unfortunately I love me some Xbox exclusives.

For first Person games I can't play with a controller. Anything else, (third person shooters, Racing games, etc) I do very well with a controller.

I am at my best with controllers. I don't know what it is about the mouse keyboard thing that just screws with me.

I like aiming better with a mouse but trying to control a character in somecases leaves my fingers in knots. When I used to play warcraft, it just always felt wrong that my movement and typically actions had to be done with the same hand not at the same time. I guess this being because I never dared upgrade to a mouse with more than say 6-7 functions. And the running joke between me and my friends on some games like STALKER was that the only way to control the game was with some kind of magic spider fingers with a keyboard that had a buffer high enough to recognize all the strokes needed to say sprint into a crouch jump and land on a dime.

I'm good with both, but I'm better at FPS games with my mouse. Mostly because of the aiming capability.

I grew up with M/K and still play a lot of games on the PC, but I've also played a lot of console. If I switch from one to another it takes me a minute to get used to the controls again though

EDIT: I must be the only person that sucks at FPS on the PC lol I just cant do it

I'm good with both, although I do occasionally slip up when I'm frantically reaching for keyboard keys.

I have Über micro on PC and am also really good with a controller. I would be equal in using a controller as I am with the M/K but controllers are just plain shitty (save for racers and platformers).

I've never been a PC gamer, and haven't had much experience with M/K.

I've been gaming on consoles since I was 3, probably not going to switch anytime soon, haha.

I am good on a controller and I can move easily to a M/K but I am not as good on it, if that makes sense.

I can do decently with controllers, but the keyboard and mouse are my forte. I'll usually perform average at best when compared with the rest of my friends in an FPS on consoles like Halo or Call of Duty, but in a similar FPS on the PC I'll generally do consistently well. Unless it's Team Fortress 2. I suck at that for some reason. Probably lack of practise since the art style personally puts me off, even though I think it's a fantastically well-made game.

It depends, I can play everything except shooters on consoles, the controls just feel sluggish while aiming and I cannot get used to auto aim...

Mouse + Keyboard: Any keys past the TGV barrier (look at your keyboard), and the keys past QAZ, meaning Shift, TAB, Caps, and CTRL. However, I'm generally good.

Controller: Clicking down analog sticks (R3+L3), makes knifing in MAG and MW2 very uncomfortable. Again, I'm still good, probably better than M/K.

For MW2, switch to tactical layout. It sets knifing to B (or O on PS3), and crouching to R3, which is much easier for me.
