I am defiantly used to both controllers, I guess I should be seeing as I have both consoles. I currently only own a pretty old laptop as far as computers go, so I haven't played many P.C. games lately, although I can defiantly manage.

I use both frequently and it really depends on the game, I am terrible with some games on the PC but great with a controller on the same game and vise-versa.

Most pc fps leave me spraying and praying, but that might be because my current mouse is a terrible terrible piece of equipment.

Mouse + Keyboard: Any keys past the TGV barrier (look at your keyboard), and the keys past QAZ, meaning Shift, TAB, Caps, and CTRL.

Controller: Clicking down analog sticks (R3+L3), makes knifing in MAG and MW2 very uncomfortable.
For MW2, switch to tactical layout. It sets knifing to B (or O on PS3), and crouching to R3, which is much easier for me.
for me I like it being R3, makes it more insticnt to press it since my finger is already on the analog stick.

I'm not as good with the keyboard and mouse as I am with a controller, but I'm steadily getting better. I've arrived at the point where I'm more comfortable playing Left 4 Dead with a keyboard and mouse, so that probably counts for something. At the very least, I don't outright suck as much as I used to.

I favor M/K over controllers.

RTS it's a no-brainer and FPS the advantages are obvious.

Having R3 for crouching/prone is better suited for me, since when the shooting starts you have instant access to prone, which helps avoid bullets.
I was just giving advice to the above user, though, not trying to start an argument about button layout.

In shooters, I'm better close-quarters with a controller (keeps me from overreacting, I guess?), but at long range, I do better with a mouse. Other than that, I'm alright with both, though I tend to prefer one or the other depending on the type of game.

Definitely both.

I play alot of fighting games, and knowing my controller layout is an absolute must. Plus I need to know all of the nuances of your specific controller, like how my R trigger sometimes gets stuck if I push it the wrong way, etc.

And I play most shooters/RTS on the computer(because I like the controls more, and you have much better handling and can perform quicker with a mouse+Key) So I need to know the way around the board.

I think the hardest thing for me to adapt to is playing with a new controller. I still am not very good with a gamecube controller, and how I master the N64 behemoth as a child is beyond me......

I'm best with a controller, but I started playing games with a mouse and keyboard, so that control scheme is still implanted in my long-term memory.

I'm far better with M/K since I have sort of a sniper's twitch that lets me nail fast shots with a mouse, but that obviously doesn't carry over very well to Controller. In anything other than shooters I'm about equal with M/K and controller.

I'm great with both, with 1 exception. I cannot play FPS on mouse/keyboard. I just can't. It feels so strange to me. With RPGs or RTS games, I'm great on M/K. Somehow that doesn't translate at all to FPS games.

I only have a PC. I have a dual shock style game-pad that I use for Soccer games and that is pretty much it. I also have a joystick, but not one with pedals, that is for flight only.

I can use both well, although M/K are my forte.

I mainly play halo 3 but I would not say I am really good at using a controller. Maybe a bit above average. :p

Doesn't matter. Give me a game and an intuitive control scheme and odds are good I can play it and do quite well.
