Yeah, almost definitely even if not straight away at release. Valve are actually making the PS3 version this time aren't they? They're not outsourcing it this time are they?
If they are making it themselves, then I'll probably get the PS3 version on release.
If not I'll get it on Steam just as soon as I get myself a new macbook pro. Whenever that will be.

Definitely. Whatever the hype, good or bad, I liked the first one, so I want to play the second one to see for myself.
Steam seems to be doing this "sale on new releases" thing, so I dunno how much we'll have to wait for a price drop. X3 I could justify spending more if it does end up having decent multiplayer as rumored... I'm already making plans to co-op with people. XD

Whether it truly lives up to its name or not, I just have to see it for myself. It's unavoidable.

And even if it's not as good as Portal, it's still going to be of at least Valve quality.

I was going to get it for p.c like the origional but seeing as how its being optimised for ps3 i'll get it on that (plus avoid any hassle or realisation i need ANOTHER upgrade on my pc.)

Wait, it's being optimized for the PS3? All I heard was that the 'Steam' version for the PS3 was going to be the best, according to Gabe Newell. I haven't heard that Portal 2 was being optimized for the PS3 though...?

Will I buy it? Absolutely. Will I pay more than $30 for it? Highly unlikely. Considering L4D2 was available on sale for $30 within a month of coming out, though, I don't expect to have to wait too long.

I wasn't much impressed by the original and found it overly difficult. Apparently the sequel will be even tougher.

It's a maybe for me, I usually hate puzzle games but I thought Portal wasn't too bad.
