Yeah, it's a little late to ask, and I know that if other people are anything like me, you're getting a little sick of all the Skyrim topics. My reasoning is this:

Originally, I wasn't going to the midnight release, for lack of a way to get there. Now, however, my friends going to come pick me up, so I AM going. What about you?

No, too many times have I gone to those to find the store inadequately supplied.

Generally I wait for the second or third shipment.

Also, your poll got nom'd,

Nope, because I use Steam. I'd rather preload it and start it up as soon as it unlocks than wait in a line, get my copy, drive home and install it from a CD.

Yes, anyone without a massive visual disability can see that. And anyone with one probably shouldn't be using the internet in the first place.

Never been a midnight release a game before, never will. Getting the game can wait till the next day.

I want to, but no one I know is going and that's usually why I go. They're fun with friends. I'm just picking it up tomorrow after class.

This. My roommate preordered the game from gamestop and I laughed at him because steam unlocks the game at 10pm for me in the Pacific Time Zone and he has to wait until midnight to get the game, then drive back and install it.

I want to. I usually get off work at midnight, but because the store is doing inventory and receiving has been dropping the ball for us I'll probably be working till at least 2.

edit: maybe I'll get lucky and only have to work my usual shift.

It appears that he failed with the poll, he didn't click the poll button, he typed it out and put in one too many 'L's.

Ah well.

OT: I WAS going, but nobody wants to drive me.

My parents all have work tomorrow, my stepbrother is taking a few of his friends instead, and my other stepbrother is working. I have no car, and no license, so I can't just drive myself.

I could ride my bike to the mall which is about four or five miles away, but I'm not going to put in that much effort just so I can wait in line and go right back home afterwards.

I asked my mom if she could drive me in the afternoon tomorrow (she's working from home because my brother and I both have the day off), but she said that the earliest she can do would be at around five PM, and that I'd have to go watch my brother get a haircut and go grocery shopping first.

I really hate when things like this happen. You've been looking forward to something and can't wait to finally get it, and then it's just one thing after another until you have to settle with getting it later than you'd planned.

Goddamn my impatience!

Yes. Though considering I wasn't thinking and preordered at the smallest gamestop in my portion of the US, I'll probably be spending a fair amount of time waiting outside if I want to get a respectable position in queue.

It's quite cold right now. And windy.

I've got the day off tomorrow, and even if I didn't, I'm an insomniac anyways, so there's really no reason for me not to go to the midnight release.

Why freeze outside a store at midnight when a nice postie can bring it in the morning. :)
