I was there and it looks like the snows of Skyrim followed the game to my area. I also got an extra large pumpkin spice coffee at Tim Horton's which I chugged on the way home...

Nah. I'm going to get some sleep. Besides, I don't have a car and my parents are my ride. No way are they going to sacrifice sleep just to get me a game I can get the next day.

Yeah, it's a little late to ask, and I know that if other people are anything like me, you're getting a little sick of all the Skyrim topics. My reasoning is this:

Originally, I wasn't going to the midnight release, for lack of a way to get there. Now, however, my friends going to come pick me up, so I AM going. What about you?
Dude I made a thread exactly like this a few days ago.

And yes I'm leaving in 20 minutes for it.

I don't think there is one in my tiny home town in Norn Iron (banbridge) . Even if there was, it's so close to the weekend that another day or two will make no difference. I totally understand that some peeps have booked days off to play, but I can wait for a bit before satiating my desires. Besides, gaming is a central component of my life, no doubt, but not an all encompassing one. I can use tantric techniques to prolong the anticipated pleasure D. Also, midnight openings leave me a bit cold. Literally. Unless you are going with friends and make it a proper get together, and you ahven;t booked the next day off work, I'd say leave it.

Well, I just got back the Midnight release and, I think its safe to say that I probably won't be going to another considering some guy tried to run over my friend, So I think I'll just wait to get any game I preorder from now on.

There were no midnight releases that I could find ANYWHERE in my area, which is weird because I live in a pretty affluent area full of gamers that LOVE this kinda shit.

Ah well.

Yes. The store is a mile and a half away, and I'm walking down there shortly. Originally I wasn't going to, but the waiting became entirely too much.

No such thing where I am currently (Khartoum, Sudan).

Not that I go to these things even when I can, I find that it's generally better to wait for consumer products like this, because I don't have to wait in line for hours, or elbow my way through ppl, or deal with the inevitable release bugs and criminally high prices.

But as I understand it, it's a bit of an experience. Maybe I'll go to one, when I have a more permanent household, and a group of gamer friends to go with.

Nope, but my roommate is so he's picking up my copy as well. Yay for small town vendors!

for some reason stores in Holland released TESV at the MW3 releases....
even IF they waited I doubt they would do that because I pre-orderd it at a toy store.
