I think this console generation was my last. I'll just play some indie games off of Steam or something.

Whether they are true or not, I won't be buying them on release. I only got a sexbox a few months ago and I will not be buying a new console for some time. If the rumors are true, probably never.

I can't judge something that doesn't exist so I am neutral. If it's cheap and plays games I will, even if that means waiting a few years for it to build up a library and go down in price. If it limits what games you can play (no backwards compatibility or used games) then I won't buy it.

I have no urge to buy anything at the moment. If I can't play used games or older games, I have no interest in the system. If the system will only let me get digital games, I'll also avoid it.

That said, I'm likely going to find myself with a Wii U. It'll hit me out of nowhere as well. One day I'm walking, then I find myself in this crazy thing called a 'line'. And before I know it I wake up the next day with a hangover and a Wii U on the table.

If all the rumors are true I may pick up a used console down the road for exclusives and that's about it.

I'm a PC man who doesn't care that much about graphics, so all this talk of the next gen is just a mild amusement to me.

If the rumors are true, I may have to start saving up for a gaming PC. I've had a little taste of PC gaming through playing TF2, Garry's Mod, and Plants vs. Zombies and they were enjoyable. Unfortunately, my laptop isn't designed for dedicated PC gaming.

It's a shame really, I grew up with consoles, and I'd hate for them to go into this direction.

If the rumors are false though, then I'll wait until there are games that I'm really interested in before buying the consoles for them.

I didn't support the current generation of consoles, so why would I support the next? I have a Playstation 2 for when the fey mood strikes me to do a little console gaming. It can run all of the Grand Theft Auto games, all of the Metal Gear Solid games and the Guitar Hero stuff before it got really, really stale.

I'm not sure yet. The rumours of removing used games could push me away, but I don't think they're more than just rumours. I also love me some Playstation and Nintendo exclusives but a good PC would give me access to cheaper games and better performance

Yes I will. I don't give a damn about used games or backwards compatibility. Maybe not on launch day, but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a PS4.

No, probably not. The way it's going, it looks like I'm done with consoles for a long time. I'll continue to play PS3 and PS2 games and possibly handhelds if the PS Vita is going to stay but other than that, I'm going to invest a lot more in PC gaming. I'll wait to see the games line-up but I'm not sure which titles could convince me otherwise. I'm still waiting on Persona 5 for PS3, and ATLUS are known for releasing games late in a console's development cycle. Another of the reasons for my having a PS3 was the Final Fantasy series. After XIII and XIV and the retarded development of Versus XIII I'm not sure. Of course there were problems with development for PS3, and if the PS4 proved easier and cheaper to develop for then the exclusives and original IPs might pick up again. Only time will tell.

This is a "more information required" situation for me. I'll have to see if these rumors are true and if they are just how bad. Besides, unless they have something that I NEED in the opening library I think that I can hold out for awhile.

While I am a staunch PC gamer, I'm interested to see what the next gen systems will be like (it's an attitude left over from when I was younger; still remember how amazing the SNES looked). Consoles have to advance periodically, or they fall behind, so I'm excited to see what new ideas develop.

Considering I'm already in the "next generation" with my PC, I'm in not massive rush to buy one of the 3 shitboxes coming out. I will be taking a look at Sony's console, but fuck Microsoft and Nintendo just doesn't make games that pertain to adults any more so I doubt they have much of a shot at selling me a console. Sony will probably get a sale if they don't go with the "no used games" bullshit, that won't fly with me at all.
