Not do you feel like you attractive/unattractive, but rather, are you happy with yourself and how you look?
Maybe you're really short and happy about it, maybe you're super tall and sad :'(
after lossing 30 kg this year i better be happy
Wow, well done. How did you do it?
I could stand to lose that much, when I went to the doctors, I looked at my files and it said my ideal weight is 50kg.
I'm not too happy, but I'm not the worst around by far and I managed to get a boyfriend which is good.
I'm way too short and fat, I have huge hips and skinny little legs, it looks ridiculous.
Thanks
Well im tall so my ideal weight is about 85kg and I was 123kg (I have about 8ish kg to go, which would make me about 93kg atm) it has taken me, 38 weeks so far.
But really no short cuts, just watching what I eat and excersise.
I started off just more or less halving my meals, because I knew I ate waaay 2 much because I would cook to much. So i would cook my meal and stick half of it in the fridge and ate later.
I changed all my carbs to brown foods (so wholemeal, brown rice etc) I tend to stick to water and knowing how to cook helps.
I also dont think about going on a diet, i hate it when people think im on a diet, it isnt a diet, it is a life style change, because you cant go back to old habbits once the weight is off, this is (I think) a big mistake people make. If i feel like eating chips or fast food ill go and eat it, because I know on a whole I eat fine, I know it isnt something I should do all the time and isnt something I do all the time (less than once a month).
Also find a form of excersise you really enjoy doing, you dont need to go to the gymn or run km after km to lose wieght. Walking the dog can be easily turned into a work out, take up a team sport, martial art, anything you think you will enjoy doing. Also try and sneak excersise into your day if you can, if you drive, leave for work eairly and park further away from work and walk the rest, never take the lift and always use stairs as some ideas.
I found I really enjoy going for a run, it gets me out the house and helps me clear my head, gives me time to myself and I enjoy the goal setting and giving me something to aim for.
I also monitor my weight, I have a weigh in day, same time/day every week and made myself a little excel spreadsheet that gives me my BMI, total weight loss, weight loss for the week, average KG lost per week, projected weight (after a set time) and all these other things.
But I do have good motivation to loss wieght though has I was diagnosed with insulin resistance, which does make it harder for me to lose wieght in the first place, but f I dont Ihave a very very high chance of getting diabetes....which I really dont want.
