I then always feel down because of my uni degree - It's BSc Games Design, and there's not one day where I don't think how stupid it is, but I just have to hold on and hope getting a first in it might actually get me somewhere.

A friend of mine did this, he is by far the happiest person i know. He thoroughly love his job, he goes to work, he comes home, he continues working on either his main project or some random idea he's had, he plays games, gets mroe ideas goes and does more design. If you feel this way it could be because you are not suited to the course, hell i love coding but could i sit day in and out doing it? hell no, which is why im not.

Ah, nah 3d modelling is pretty much the only thing I imagine I could be doing. It's the fact that no-one really recognizes games design as a real degree.. and it's going to be hell getting a job. Adding to the fact that the course is so varied with the range of games design, it's like the jack-shit of all trades.

I'm with you on that. If you wake up every morning it is a great day because you are still alive, anything beyond that is purely a bonus.

I am really enjoying life right now, I have a wife and two kids and a job that I enjoy.

I think I'm content with life. I have food in my fridge, wealth for (my) toil, and I'm still young. Why the hell should I be bitching? overall, yes.

Summer has started, get to be outside more, more time to go on trips with girlfriend and other friends, that and patched up some issues with old friends that I thought I wouldnt hang out with again- glad to see them.

Not insanely happy summer flower child or anything, but I am thoroughly happy overall.

I'm bored and sometimes depressed, but I feel I do not have the right to be sad about my life, seeing how much worse it could have been.

There are of course periods where I forget about sadness and I am just genuinely happy. I am a bit schizophrenic like that, I guess.

Dude, people can feel depressed if you'd like I'll give you a whole long reason as to why a person can feel depressed, know they should get help, are unable to, and why. Don't pretend to know everything please. Also the "Indifference" could be, oh I don't know, maybe Boredom??? Seriously, come on. Use your brain before flaming the posts.
