Oh my rod, people... Lighten the fuck up.

I don't know what has happened to you, but I sincerely doubt it to be anything actually worthy of saying "I'm depressed" or "No, I'm not happy at all".

What's with the indifference? The ":|". What is that? Some sort of hipster way of saying "Wow I'm so cool and apathetic"? Seriously, come on. Stop being such fools and embrace life and everything in it. See a psychologist if you are unable to do so.

For gods sake... "Don't worry, be happy."

Please refer to explanatory posts on the next page, if you do not understand this posts goal. In short, it is directed at emo-teens, rather than people with real problems.
embrace life and everything around it ok *embaces life* great I was :I but now I'm D: life truly sucks with all the dicks where I live at least 10 people in my year are pregnent (all 14)
every day I lose more faith in humanity *sigh*

I think I'm content with life. I have food in my fridge, wealth for (my) toil, and I'm still young. Why the hell should I be bitching? If I *****, then I'll feel worse because others don't have it as good as me and therefore feel sadder by bitching about my insignificant problems in the first case o.o
Exactly! Why can't people revel the world they live in, without taking drugs? I'm high on life most of the time! =D

All you need is a little perspective and you can be truly happy.

Not at the moment, its boring and nothings happening.
At least you're well fed, with education, and other such privileges that most of the world goes without. Perhaps you should appreciate the current stability and be happy with it, at least until something comes along?

A few of my list are
Run a marathon, walk or whatever, move 24 miles via foot in a single day.
go to a rave ive never heard of before covered in luminous paint.
Set fire to all my books.
Go to london with some friends every week.
Visit the beach at least once a week.
I'm actually a bit ahead of you. I went through the exact same thought process you're going through, just a few months ago after reading a pretty life-affirming book. I've done the exercise bit, the book burning bit, and the rave bit. Probably the beach bit, too. But where will you find the money to visit London every week? What will you even do there?

Oh for goodness sake, grow up. You are a British Teenager. You are among the wealthiest and luckiest people in the entire world. There is nothing you can't do. No options are closed to you because of were you live or your family or anything, really!

You may think you are being a 'realist' by being so pessimistic, but embracing life means embracing all the good parts as well. I mean, you are in secondary school! How many billions of people don't even get that far? Those ten in your year who are pregnant, will they die during childbirth, will they be forced to abort or to keep the child by law? Not likely! What options do you have after your secondary education? You could do anything you want, as long as you get off your arse and stop feeling so entitled.

Sorry if that sounds harsh. The second paragraph isn't directed at you specifically. I get so pissed off when people complain about nothing at all, when those people who are really suffering do not even get a word in edgeways.

Just watch this video and learn from it, then read this book [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Age-Absurdity-Modern-Makes-Happy/dp/1847375243], and cheer the fuck up! Love Life, and Be Grateful For What You Have! That doesn't mean 'don't strive for more', it's simply a dose of perspective.

Damn, that sucks. I hope it gets better for you soon.
Thanks. Maybe it will, I'm currently seeing a psychiatrist for it, but after about 4 appointments I'm still feeling the same. If this doesn't help I just don't know what to try next, I'm just so tired of fighting.

Not so easy when you're missing one of life's necessity's. Human contact is one of them. I don't have any meaningful human contact, just fighting and getting mocked.

No, I'm not particularly happy. I won't get into why, because I'm not a huge fan of complaining to random people on the internet, and it won't make me feel any better anyway.

Then get out there and find some! You're pretty good looking, you've got a good range of interests, what's stopping you? Is it really other people, or is the problem coming from within you?

And what degree of contact do you really require? Is it so bad to be alone with a book and daydream? I've spent whole weeks doing this, and I've not felt isolated. Hell, judging by your profile we're actually pretty similar.

Perhaps you should unplug your rig for a month or so? Did me wonders. Also, read that book I mentioned. [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Age-Absurdity-Modern-Makes-Happy/dp/1847375243]

Generally. There are things that could be better, but for the most part, I have no complaints. :D I have an awesome job, I'm moving back to my adoptive hometown, the weather is nice, my plants are growing well, and I've got a new hobby that I'm having loads of fun with!

On a scale from 0 to 5 I'd rate my life, at the moment, 4,5. I had to subtract 0.5 points due to the absence of a girlfriend (mostly for sex) and money. But hey, that can always change right? I don't want to answer that, because the 0.5 might become 4.5 :p

What's stopping me? Simple; finances. I live in the middle of nowhere and I don't have the papers to get a job that's good enough to support myself from, especially in the more densely populated regions (high rental costs). I'll be stuck here for quite some time, could be 5 years, could be less, but I'm not sure how long I can keep this going.

It's not that I blame other people by the way, they can't help that I'm different. It's just a case of bad luck.

What kind of contact I would require? Simple human contact with people who share my interests. I'm not a big party pooper but I am pretty sociable. I love sitting alone with a book and daydream from time to time, but not all the time. I just want to be able to express what I care about openly, I want to hang out with friends.

As for unplugging my computer; no. It's the only thing keeping me sane right now as it allows me to converse with the only person I actually, really care about. I wouldn't want to lose her, not ever. I already miss her as it is, not being able to be with her for real. Those conversations keep me going.

That book looks interesting by the way.

A bit. Real exams almost over, last on Friday, but then school exams, which could decide which 6th form I could get to, so I'm pretty stressed

But World Cup makes me happy :D

At the moment: meh
Overall: Hell if I know. I have my good days and my bad days. I try to be happy or at least content, but I can't always be. I just try to live life one day at a time.
