Poll: Are you Hyped for Modern Warfare 2 ?

See CoD 4 was fantastic, a needed pull away from WWII. Regarding a sequel... I dunno, hard to think what they can do to keep it original save another wild chase to stop another nuke being... oh wait... In fact sod it, screw modern warfare, let go for future combat... IN SPAAAAAAAACE! Oh come on it must intrigue you

I fail to see any interesting things about it. It's another 'modern warfare' game featuring (presumably) Americans versus Country X. I'm sick of games like this, modern war set in real locations does not appeal to me, I prefer the realm of fantasy. So many of these contemporary war games feel so similar and interechangeable that I can safely say I will ignore Modern Warfare 2 completely and stick to my Gears of War 2 instead.

I have a tough time seeing how they could replicate a success like COD4. If the sequel removes the stupid aistrikes/helicopters, limits the effects of run n gun gameplay and make the multiplayer more squad based then yes. Ill pick it up. But even then its not something I would call myself 'hyped' about.

The thing is, I remember when people said the same about CoD2, then CoD4, the truth is, IW has yet to stop making innovations to the FPS genre

Of course i'm looking forward to it, it is the sequel to one of the best FPS games ever made and Treyarch aint involved lol. =)

I am looking forward to it, but i just can't say that i am "hyped" for it. It will just be COD4 in a different enviroment, but there is also not doubt that it will be very good. Plus the trailer was pretty cool. Particularly liked the snow-mobile part.

I didn't like the multiplayer that much. Single player was very good but not substantial enough.

I have to agree with that while I liked CoD4 it didn't deserve half the praise it got. I can't really say I'm that excited about MW2 the snowmobile part helped take away any enthusiasm I had it just looked fuckin' stupid.

I've had it on pre-order for 6 months, and am very psyched for it. I find it hard to understand why people would say MW is over-rated, when it is still in the top 10 for sales, 2 years after release.

My caln and I have all set up new accounts specifically for MW2 online, which now that i think about it, is a bit sad. Still see you online! AviT!!

YES. Why? If you have to ask, apparently you haven't seen the screenshots/gameplay footage and then figured out how good multiplayer will be.

Spoiler Alert: It will be good. (but the definition of good is completely up to interpretation! haha!)
