I click on interesting Titles, not much else.

Even if I post several times in a poll thread, most of the time I don't even answer the poll

...I clicked on this thread because it was a poll, and I had no idea it was about this. I want to know I'm the exact same as most people, it's soothing.

I clicked on this thread because it sounded like something I wanted to know about. The existence of the poll was irrelevant. The poll does tabulate the results though, so I don't have to read too much to find out how many people feel what.

Yes, if it has a poll I am far more inclined to open the thread. Why you ask? Because I am someone who is normally uneasy even typing something, and a poll helps me feel like I added something to the thread without having the commitment of a post.

However even though I will see the poll marker first, I will still see the thread title before opening it. If the thread is something I really don't feel like looking into for any reason I may skip it anyways (Though the poll still makes me have to rethink some threads).

I'm less likely to click a thread with a poll. Probably because there's less to discuss. Just pick an alternative and there's nothing more to do.

I treat poll threads like the others.

There's no interest in a poll if I can't possibly answer it. And so I have to keep the topic in mind.

Yeah. I often don't feel like posting in threads I click on (especially if they're already pretty full or degenerated into something I don't feel like joining in with), but I'm an opinionated bastard and like making my opinion known, and a poll is a nice easy way of doing that.
