Are you/will you be playing Guild Wars 2, Mists of Pandaria, both, or neither? Any particular reason?

Is there anyone playing both that can give some insight into their experience? I know MoP just barely came out, but a lot of the changes have been in the game for awhile now.

So Borderlands 2 is all the rage right now, but I figured I'd ask this question, and don't feel slighted if I didn't include your favorite MMO. For me, probably just Guild Wars 2. I've been playing some Guild Wars 2 off and on lately and really enjoying my time, particularly the pvp. PvP is a big deal for me in MMOs, which is why I cancelled my subscription to WoW at the beginning of Cataclysm. I just got tired of their pvp model.

I was looking at some of the features of Mists of Pandaria, and I'm actually interested in some of the things they're doing. The new talent system looks better, I actually think the Pokemon battles is a cool idea, and I love the idea of their challenge mode. Without experiencing either(I've been concentrating mostly on pvp in GW2), its feels like MoP might have a better dungeon-running experience than GW2[footnote]And I don't mean because MoP already has a huge base of dungeons already, but rather in how they handle them.[/footnote]. However, I haven't heard much about what MoP is doing with pvp, so I just can't make that plunge back in.

Edit: Wow, I really butchered their/they're with this post.

Neither. Never had any interest in WoW, and frankly the weird cult-like hype surrounding GW2 has put me off it.

Nah, just sticking with LOTRO myself. Rohan beats pandas, every time.

Neither. I have no time for MMOs right now. However, if I were to pick up one of these two MMOs, I would pick Guild Wars 2, if only because I got sick of WoW and GW2 offers something somewhat different from it.

I'm playing neither at the moment. I used to play WoW, a long time ago. But that was before the last two expansions. I am somewhat interested in trying Guild Wars 2 but I'm worried about what would happen to my life if I got in to an other MMO.

Guild Wars 2.

I enjoyed my time with WoW but after Trial of the Crusader I was done. That patch was just awful. I went back for a month afterwards but it had gone downhill even by then. I just don't have faith in Blizzard to deliver the goods anymore.

Out of those two Guild Wars 2, I mean it's just 60 and no substitution. I tried out TERA online, but I don't like the art style. I would say the women in that game dress like whores, but then I realized whores where more clothing.

GW2 for the simple reason of no online subscription. I play those kinds of games for the exploration and GW2 does that a lot better than other MMOs I've seen. Not to mention it's massive.

I don't play PC games due to my computer having the graphical abilities of a jelly donut, so I'd have to say neither.

I am playing neither, I was hyped for Guild Wars 2 but I've become such of tight-ass as of recently!
Oh, and I would love to play WoW but all that money per month? No thanks! That's 15 whole McDoubles from MacDon's that I would be able to enjoy!

Both. I like how GW2 plays and the PVP but I missed being a healer. I've decided to combine both my warlock and my paladin and roll a druid, that way I can both heal and rDPS without having to level two characters or farm two sets of gear.

Have you SEEN the men in that game? The male high elves and castanics are like a yaoi fangirl's wet dream.

I don't know what that is.
I think if that's so, you're best off keeping to not knowing.

Yeah, my only exposure to dungeons has been WoW and I quite liked the holy trinity. I'm really curious how GW2 makes their dungeons without the holy trinity. I really should level my warrior or thief up high enough to experience it myself. I'm just stuck on which one I like more. >.<

I'm playing MoP, I do own Guild Wars 2 but that game just bores me so, also the Guild Wars 'universe' just doesn't have much of a soul imo, even though WoW has extremely sub-par graphics compared to GW2, they did an AMAZING job of making the continent of Pandaria, i really love the feel of this expansion, my favourite leveling experience of any MMO so far.

I can't really comment on much else because I haven't hit the level cap for MoP yet, but I assume it's going to have better PvE than GW2, because WoW is pretty much focused on PvE at this point, and i'd say GW2's strong point is it's PvP.

As much as I want a Pokemon MMO (HOW FUCKING OBVIOUS IS THIS NINTENDO! COME ON!), it is 2012, not 2004, and as such, I will be playing Guild Wars 2. Quests, PFFBT!
