I'm on GW2 myself. WoW is just something I have played for too long, should have quit it sooner. It just...lost direction, if you ask me. The new direction the world is taking...no, that's not something I can go with. To say nothing of the entire concept of "Hey, let's take an ancient April 1 joke and turn it into an expansion".

Guild Wars 2. I quit WoW a few months after buying Cataclysm. Plus, I had also purchased SW:TOR a few months after I quit and I didn't want to pay for two monthly MMO subscriptions so I decided to quit WoW. I still play TOR but I play Guild Wars 2 much more.

Very much enjoying mists of pandaria. Competition is great for customers. The tightening mmo marketplace has pushed blizz into making their best expansion yet

Neither at the moment. Might get a month's playtime of WoW soon since a friend of mine plays it, though I swore never to return over a year ago. The game is fine(kinda) but the community has always been fucking awful.
I bought GW2 a few days after it's release, but upon reaching level 80 and finishing all zones up to ~level 75 it lost a lot of it's charm. Tried making alts, however it started feeling like a choire already. Was hoping the game would last a lot longer for me. :(

Guild Wars 2. IT's the best MMO I've ever played, bar none.

Agree with you 100%!

I never feel any boring grind or that the game is too repetitious. And any areas where the game may fall a bit flat will probably be fixed with patches. Not to mention it has some beautiful areas and landscapes. It's a great looking MMO. The best that I've seen.

Yeah, my answer is obviously Guild Wars 2

Neither, I'm playing Borderlands 2 and it is awesome! I'll probably pick up Guild Wars 2 eventually though.

Both. I like how GW2 plays and the PVP but I missed being a healer. I've decided to combine both my warlock and my paladin and roll a druid, that way I can both heal and rDPS without having to level two characters or farm two sets of gear.
I tried to be a healer in GW2 once. It worked really well actually. Turns out the best healer in the game is the warrior, who can set down banners that give great HP regen in a wide area and auto-rally people in the downed state. So an axe/shield combo with the proper trait placement can make your warrior a healer/tank with semi-respectable damage to boot.

Yeah, my only exposure to dungeons has been WoW and I quite liked the holy trinity. I'm really curious how GW2 makes their dungeons without the holy trinity. I really should level my warrior or thief up high enough to experience it myself. I'm just stuck on which one I like more. >.<
Ive only run up to the second dungeon for now, but it works pretty well. The bosses target enemies pretty randomly and the basic idea is that if you're being targeted and you can't take hits to back away and dodge. Dying isn't that much of a problem because you always go into last stand mode and a party member can bring you back easily.

Yeah i like GW2. I Quit WoW right before WoTLK came out from a combination of boredom with the game and getting my account hacked. I just cancelled my payment and left it. Gw2 is great. I like the variety of styles i can have in PVP. Currently i'm going for a sword/pistol thief. Taking down a light armored class with a well placed trap is always entertaining.

Currently I'm playing Guild Wars 2, and have no (current) interest in Mists of Pandaria. I do have an interest in The Secret World though, so I may attempt that in the near future.

Yah im also playing Guild Wars 2 myself right now. I only played that free up-to-level-20 thing they have going on, and while it was fun, definitely, it's just I dont feel comfortable paying a subscription on top of already buying the game, THEN buying the expansions. How much money do they need?!

Neither. Never had any interest in WoW, and frankly the weird cult-like hype surrounding GW2 has put me off it.

Nah, just sticking with LOTRO myself. Rohan beats pandas, every time.
How is LOTRO??
I can never get a straight answer... I myself am loving GW2 but my cpu struggles a bit to run it optimally.

I actually have already tried that build but I didn't enjoy it much. The build seems like a support in LoL but I felt too dependant on the skill of other people. I tend to stick to my thief as it's the only profession I found that I enjoyed multiple builds on. I really need to try venom share some time.

Neither one.
I've never been a fan of MMORPGs, and my rig has never been strong enough to handle any MMO.

Neither, unless I could just buy WoW: Pandas and not pay a subscription. The few MMOs I've played, I've played pretty casually (my addiction-like period to WoW notwithstanding). I'm always way behind the curve, and way behind my friends and guild. So, I've learned to have quite a bit of fun pugging 5-mans.

Anyway, I have Guild Wars 2 but it hasn't grabbed me (I'm gonna get around to giving it another chance if the mountain of other games stops distracting me; I only played 10 hours). I'd totally give WoW another go, I haven't played it nearly as much as some to grow sick of it yet. But, I play infrequently and take breaks lasting months, so I couldn't justify throwing $15 off a cliff most months.

GW2. While I haven't been overwhelmed by it, it's still a good game. Something which WoW really isn't anymore.
Rift for the P2P MMO, GW2 for when I just want to play a bit without any pressure.

On a sidenote; while GW2 fans can be almost religious in devotion, WoW fans ARE religious in devotion. Got a classmate who's so smug about WoW it becomes unbearable. "Yeah, WoW is the best ever, nothing can beat it...yeah, it's so awesome."

Guild Wars 2.

WoW has been going downhill since the middle of wotlk and I'm done with it. I could elaborate why, but really, does it matter anymore? WoW is a stagnant beast now. You can easily judge if you yourself like it still.

It's a great deal of fun, actually. It's not far off the WoW path in any way, but it really loves to use huge, open environments that makes the world have a really nice sense of bigness. The animations, textures, and atmosphere are all great and it's helped by a pretty accurate portrayal of Middle Earth. My only 2 gripes are that a lot of the armor sets, especially early on, just seem kinda...meh. They're a bit too cartoony and bright for my tastes, and don't fit with the world to well, but it does get better as you go through. Also, i've reached a point in my Ranger character where i've done most quests that will get me any experience worth a damn, but im still not high enough level to enter the next area, meanwhile, any area that would work well within my level is locked off until i buy it from the Turbine Store. I may have just missed something, but my sister ran into a similar problem, and it's definitely something worth mentioning if you plan to put any real time into it and don't expect to buy anything.

To make this post on-topic, thank god Guild Wars 2 scales you down when in low-level areas. I thought that was a stupid idea in the beginning because feeling OP in lower areas is kinda fun (not griefing people, just killing enemies that gave you hell in one hit is fun), but i really see how it's one of the game's most creative features.

oh no, not again wow. you tricked me with cataclysm but ive learned my lesson. i ordered gw2 recently (i had a best buy gift card so its not like it cost me anything). i was intrigued by what i had heard. it seems like this might be among the few mmos thats different enough to hold my attention until level cap. though i have heard a few disheartening things recently such as the story being shitty and the last few bosses before level cap being kinda lame
