And just how likely do you think that is? All the apes we've seen fighting in the trailers are melee combatants. I liked the Tim Burton Planet Of The Apes though at points I facepalmed, but overall I thought it was a pretty good movie. I haven't seen the original and I don't really plan to anytime soon.
Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes seems like it has some potential, but I'm not sure I want to see it in theaters. Also the effects on the apes look like absolute shit if I'm gonna be honest and that will immediately take me out of the movie when I watch it. I'll most likely look it up when it comes onto Netflix in a few months or maybe I can find a DVD of it in a bargain bin.
