Yes. Always have been and trying not to be.

I always go down this weird type of path where I beat myself up because of being single. At a certain point I like to consider doing something that'll make me realize that I'm being a pussy to think of such a thing. I think to myself that when I make pussy thoughts [small](not THAT type of thoughts, that's for another time... maybe)[/small] all that time I beat my self up I could have tried getting a girl. However, when I do think of such a thing I get nervous and my mind wanders to the point where I want to dress up like Godzilla and destroy Lego Land. You read that correctly. Destroy Lego Land like Godzilla.

So yeah, you've just entered a part of War Penguin's brain where you'll still think of him the same way again.

At the moment, yes. I'm in my last year of school, so, between studying and my other commitments and finding time for myself, I really don't have time for a relationship. My last girlfriend was incredibly demanding, and she would freak out and claim to be suicidal if we didn't talk for like four hours on MSN every night. I really don't have the time or energy to get that involved with anyone at the moment.

Besides, I don't know anyone who interests me at the moment. Everyone I hang out with is like a brother or sister to me. If I even thought about going out with anyone in my class, it would just be weird. oO

I just want an intelligent, clean-cut, nerdy/nerd-appreciative guy, and I live in one of the biggest cities...and they seem hard to find. Then again, I've been in the middle of nowhere the past 4 years and have no clue where to start looking.

Though I'm really starting to fancy this girl I've recently befriended... so far I know she likes art, reading and metal. If I find out she's a gamer too, or at least interested in it, well, that'll just be the most amazing thing ever. Now I just need to not be shy so I can ask her out.

I know how you feel and actually today was the day I called the girl I liked and asked her to go out with me. My first date is set for Oct. 31st. You just need to work up the courage to talk to her and here's something to help you. What have you got to lose? That's what I was thinking when I finally said "Nothing" and picked up the phone.
