Yes and thanks for reminding me that I'm a miserable, lonely misanthropic nerd that doesn't stand a chance in the dating world.
I am mostly because I've grown extremely jaded/selective and/or cautious. Before when I was younger I used to date girls left right and center without any regard to my surroundings. Now that I'm older I won't date anybody I see regularly, etc.
single: yes. we singles are better at partying, no one to come home to, and so no one to worry about. it's nice when a friend who's been single for a long time finds someone, but it's even better when they do it in quiet, where we dont have to see it, nothing is more irritating than having to listen to their love speak baby talk crap, or hearing them getting "spankings" on the other room. fine and glad for them, but i dont want to see it. even worse is when a buddy has a new love interest, and thinks YOU are interested in them... they give you the "MINE DON'T TOUCH" look, and you are trying to give them the "im happy for you but she's ugly and creeping me out" look. relationships are fun until they aren't. we worry too much sometimes about what others might think. some people say: im a geek or a whatever and no one likes me... well... i know some insanely hot and smart gamer girls that would prove otherwise, dating, and sex is like eating (haha punny) do you want mcdonalds or something that's not going to slowly kill you.
I'm single, plain and simple.
I am a relatively misanthropic individual, I rarely choose to be around other people unless i am being payed to or have some other motive that overrides my usual overwhelming hate of humanity as a whole.
If I ever come across a female human who can stand to be in my presence alone without being afraid, bored, at a loss for words, or just plain unable to keep up with my random changing of topics during conversation, then I may decide against at least some of my current feelings and maybe not be single anymore.
I cannot see the future, but I'm not blind or deluded, so I give my lonely, unnoticed death and nearly completely unpopulated funeral a 85% or greater chance.

Although theres been this girl I've known for a while who hasn't appeared to be insane in the least so I guess it's a work in progress.

Kinda. I was supposed to be getting married to this girl but she called it off a few months before the wedding, but we still hang out, go out, and get frisky. I don't know what we are or even if we are legitimately together anymore. It's weird.
