I'm single, not too fussed about it though. Having the sort of gf which i had, for 16 months, makes you truly realise that advantages to being single. I suppose the good thing about being single is that your only responsible to yourself and your not worrying about what your significant other is doing/feeling/thinking of your actions. You also don't have to strike any compromises when it comes to meeting friends, and you save a lot of money as well.
Of course, like anything in this world, there are a number of disadvantages about being single. One, being in a relationship your usually quite happy, or indeed very happy to be with that that certain someone. Two, you have someone who you can share your thoughts and feeling's with that someone. Three you can satisfy your sexual desires, and four having a partner gives you a certain status.
I don't really try to find gf's, that usually doesn't work for me, so rather i just go along with the flow of life and see where the currents take me. If i come across a gf whilst cruising along with the tides, then great, i'll pick her up.
