Yes, I'm single. I'm actually not too fussed though. I had one girlfriend a few years ago, but it was a long distance thing and it didn't work out. Otherwise, over 19 years of life I've been exceptionally unlucky. But right now there's a girl who I met about two weeks ago who I quite like and I'm hoping to see her sometime this week, if I do then I'll probably ask her out. Failing that, there's another girl who I saw who works in Oxfam in the city centre and I'm planning to pop in sometime and try talking to her. Generally I've been really unlucky with girls though, plenty of female friends but never an actual girlfriend. Ah well, c'est la vie, right?

I'm single and happy to be so.

No stressful relationship. No awkward gift-buying. No trying to make my parents and friends like him (and it doesn't matter what you think, it's always easier if your friends/parents like your significant other). I don't have to worry about my sister trying to get him to sleep with her.

Plus, I'm in college. I'm studying and doing my senior comp this year and I plan to continue at another college next year so I can eventually study abroad. Why would I want to set myself up for a long-distance relationship? And it's much easier to party.

So I'm not really looking. My parents hate it because they are eager to marry me off.

I am, but i'm very picky about who i will go out with. A girl has to meet a number of criteira for me to consider dating her. And unfortunately, not many girls meet those criteria. Any girl who doesnt can only ever be eye candy to me.

I don't think me being a girl has anything to do with it being easier. It's actually pretty hard for me to find a guy. Guys actually ignore me for the most past unless they want me to do something or they want something from me.

Honestly, i truly believe any girl can get any guy she wants, but thats just me. If you dont get guys its cos youre trying too hard, we are so simple. Maybe youre looking in the wrong places? Who knows, im sure though, your luck will change sooner or later...just dont get an online boyfriend...talk about 1 step forward and 10 steps back.
